Perhaps you're correct. Most of us feel each release was weaker than it's predecessor. Maybe they needed fresh blood.

The first 6 tracks are fantastic, you can hear the influence of a new writer. Tracks 7 and 8 are fillers, especially the title track...painfully boring. The final two tracks get back at it and close out the album wonderfully.

 

Not as good as the first, but comparable to the last two. I'll keep buying Allen/Lande products without hesitation if they keep releasing solid albums like this one.

 

I'll be able to make one Hell of a great mixed disc for my car of tracks from all 4 releases.

This album is actually surprisingly good, moreso in some places than others. But I love the really melodic opener in 'Come dream with me,' 'Lady of winter' is a monster track, and I also really dig 'Reaching for the stars.' There are a couple of dips in quality, but they're not too deep, and overall it's a good solid release... very close to that 80% mark.
