Never listened to the first album. Should I?

Is this a cover of James Brown?

First album was good, without being spectacular and showed a lot of promise...cross fingers for album 2

Other than a few so-so tracks and one super weak ass ballad this was one pretty solid release. If you like older H.E.A.T. and Work Of Art you`ll like Wigelius.

Jeez, I think you guys are talking down the debut a bit. Like Dave says, a couple of clunkers on it, but for the most part I absolutely loved the thing. One of the most exciting releases in that year for sure.

This is at the moment, easily, my most anticipated release for the year now. So glad to see them still going as I feared it might be a once off, the debut.

If you're impatient like me, try this. Shit sound but you get a feel for the new song, which does sound killer:

I know what you mean, though. I doubt I'm pronouncing it correctly.

Seriously many of our fave bands have bad names.

Poodles, Wig Wam, H.E.A.T., Find Me, Pretty Maids, Lionsville those are all pretty weak names and I`m sure there are plenty more.

Very true, though I don't think H.e.a.t is a weak name. But I don't know why it's stylized that way.

PPP is excellent but are those verses reminiscent of an Adriangale song from last year??

Great track in any case.

If 'Please, please, please' and 'These Tears I Cry' are anything to go by, these guys will be owners of the best album of 2014, by an uncontested mile. Pure brilliance. We've been talking of perfection lately. If you want to hear melodic rock / AOR done to complete, flawless and utter perfection, look no further than 'These tears I cry':

And 'Please, please, please' is a killer tune too. Jeez I love these guys. By miles, my most anticipated album of 2014 now that Steel Panther is on the shelves.

Both of these tracks were already posted, and properly embedded. But do your thing, Geoffrey.

Really, how'd I miss them? Ha! It's weird, no matter what I do, I can't, as you say, "embed" these videos. It always just comes up as those links as above. Weird, as I used to do it all the time. :(

    • Fap fap fap fap fap... 2020 could wind up being the very year for releases that 2019 wasn't.
    • Mediocre song, mediocre vocals.  Guy sounds like a lesser version of about seven different singers.
    • Yep, that's a good start.
    • I dig that song.  Want to hear more.
    • Yeaaah...I hate that solo.  For me, the second half of that song is awful.  The first is off the charts great.  That signature riff?  Incredible.  But when it slows down, it dies.
    • Paul  mixes both Wicked and Radio Sun, Steve features in both. Don't if he got digs down here, it mainly Melbourne where he based .Also he might come down to get a suntan (lol).
    • From facebook: ”THE DARK DELIGHT” out on April 3rd! Swedish melodic metal band DYNAZTY to release new album ”THE DARK DELIGHT” on April 3rd. First single ”PRESENCE OF MIND” out on January 30th. Formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2008, DYNAZTY has since released 6 albums in a mere 10 year window.  Straying from their early days of 80’s influenced Hardrock, the band has developed and refined their sound into something that merges the modern metal scene with the past, crafting something wholly unique. Today the band is comprised of highly respected and sought after musicians, active on the metal scene in more than one way. Bassist Jonathan Olsson can also be seen in both LINDEMANN and PAIN, guitarist Love Magnusson and drummer Georg Härnsten Egg frequently tours with rock legends such as DEE SNIDER and JOE LYNN TURNER. Guitarist Mikael Lavér has been featured with both LINDEMANN and JOE LYNN TURNER, while singer Nils Molin can be heard and seen around the globe with the ever rising star of fellow Swedish band AMARANTHE. DYNAZTY are now on April 3rd set to release their biggest and most engrossing album yet - ”THE DARK DELIGHT”. Singer Nils Molin says about the album: ”We pulled out all the stops, pulled no punches and held nothing back on this one. ”THE DARK DELIGHT” is the complete vision of what this band has always wanted to be”.   Spearheaded by the first single/music video ”PRESENCE OF MIND”, DYNAZTY enters the new decade with a bang. The single and music video of PRESENCE OF MIND will be released on all platforms on January 30th. ”PRESENCE OF MIND showcases the raw nature of our band and is just the kind of groovy and melodic onslaught of a song we always wanted to release as a first single”.
