Yep a great start....probably a 9 after a few spins. The bit after the solo is mind blowing - wish this was more the chorus.

I'm not sure if you meant that literally, but I definitely heard "Fat Bottomed Girls" in there.

I've replayed this many times now. Growing on me like a plague. The drum beat and intro guitars do have a Fat Bottom Girl thing going on. Love the epic bridge part right after the guitar solo....killer stuff.

 

My only complaint is so trivial.... Erik's hair and general look WTF is that all about? Good God that ain't pretty, he's a nostral chain (I'm not sure what you call it) away from looking like the singer of Crashdiet. Too sleazy a look for a band that ain't sleazy at all.

An anthemic song, a good punchy track but not great and a step away from their AOR roots.

Am I the only one who dislike this direction ? Maybe to back cherokee, am hoping for a more melodic track.

7 does seem harsh, I'm more around 8.5.

 

Under Your Skin the B side is more on melodic side and is more traditional H.E.A.T.

 

The cover of 'She's Like The Wind' is good, but I'm happy it's only a B side and not on the album.
