AdrianGale vocals were done over a few days while Vic was wrangling everything else. Jamie flew into NY and tracked all his vocals then flew home a few days later. It had no bearing at all on Guardian's progress.

Got a sneaky listen to this on Tuesday night and I really enjoyed it. However, it was totally, completely and utterly eclipsed by the next album I played right afterwards, which is the new Faith Circus CD called 'Turn up the band.' Completely surprised the hell out of me as I honestly expected very little from it, but within two or three songs I was all like Adrianwho? I'd basically even forgot I even heard the Adriangale album.

 

Anyway, with regard to the band this thread is about, it's a good album. A little one-dimensional, but a very nice dimension.

Well if Faith Circus eclipses Suckerpunch it must be amazing (and i'll be checking it out asap!!), cos this is one damned fine album.

 

I love pretty much every song, and they sound a lot closer to HS now (not a second rate version like before) which is fine by me.

 

Also production wise this is awesome.
