Is there any point in which you're so distracted by the horrible sound quality, it overrides your ability to enjoy what you're hearing?

*Actually, now that I think about it, there was an indie release I ran across 6-7 years back where the production was so bad that the bass sounded like someone farting in a trashcan. I couldn't enjoy that CD no matter how hard I tried... I can't remember the name of the cursed thing to save me right now (I'll post it when I do!), but yeah, unfortunately, it has happened.
