I'm happy the Packers lost... But now the fans will just go back to reminding everyone how many superbowl rings they have and what they'll do next year. :stfu:

I live in MN and it's a common thing here... lol

It was a damn good game and very close until the 3rd quarter where the Packers looked like they fell apart.

Back in 1991, when the Redskins won the the Superbowl I went 11-0 in my football pool at the place I worked at. I won 80$!!!!

However so far this year the only game I got right finally happened last night the Pats over the Texans. So I'm 1-7 so far....a good idea I'm not in a pool this year.

The wildcard games were boring, however this past weekend's games were mostly all offensive classics. Especally the the Falcons last second field goal and the Ravens OT win.

I'm thinking Pats and 49ers for the Superbowl....so odds are it will be the Ravens and the Falcons.

So sad to see the Seahawks get knocked off, I really enjoy watching Russell Wilson, and Robert Turbin and Bobby Wagner who both played their college ball here at Utah St, don't know if anybody has seen Turbins arms, but he is a fucking freak of nature!

Even though I'm still broken hearted over my Broncos loss I'm pulling for the Ravens over the Pats because I hate the Pats.

I'm for the 49ers in the NFC but I don't expect there to be two road teams win but then again if the Pats don't turn it over I don't think anyone will beat them.

I feel your pain T-Bone. It's tough to live in MN and be a Vikes fan.

I was pulling for Peyton and the Broncos. But alas, it wasn't meant to happen. Now I am pulling for the Pats. I've always like Tom Brady. Not so much the Pats coach.

My Broncos over achieved this year by at least 3 games and should have never been the #1 seed but with that being said they still should have won that game but even if they did they are not built to beat Tom Brady and the Pats. They are just to explosive. I'm happy as hell we won 13 games but it reminds me of 1996 when the same thing happened and we got upset by the Jags in the division series. The only good thing about then is we won two straight super bowls.....

My roomate was a die hard cheese head and even wore one of those stupid things on his head during the game at our apartment party we had!

Hey T-Bone, this is the philosophy I live by, when a team wins a superbowl, and it goes for anyone of the NFL teams, they are only allowed to celebrate, talk shit, drop it on you in arguments, etc. until the next superbowl champion has been crowned, after that, it is a dead issue, is completely irrelevant, and has as much argument pull as arguing about who will win the superbowl in 5 years, once there is a new superbowl winner, the fudge packers are dead air, they are not the superbowl champions any longer, nor will they be again this year, so when they like to bring up previous superbowls, it's really their way of trying to look better then you, because they are not the new superbowl champions, you just have to ask them what their previous superbowls have to do with anything, nothing, they are history, and irrelevant, and not the new world champions, and that is absolutely all you can tell them, cause it's not a viable argument point any longer, unless of course your arguing who has won the most superbowls in the past, in which time they talk about the Packers, you bring up ?? whoever has won more rings then them, understand, I fucking hate people who bring up how many rings their team has won in an attempt to derail an argument over football teams, don't let em do it.

Man, I tell ya, eating puke is gross, eating your own puke is supremely gross, but having the Ravens in the superbowl is the worstest thing ever. :(

No wait, there is one worster thing, having a "Battle of the Baugh's"! Yes I made that up for both the brothers Harbaugh... However....

GO 9'ers!!!!!

If Ray Lewis gets a ring the world will in fact stop on its axis and we will all die a thousand deaths.

    • I posed him that exact question on his discord page as to what his future plans are.... He said he plans to relax for a bit, do his You Tube thing, keep writing new music and then will decide how to release that music.  He said as of now he's thinking he'll either do a solo thing or form his own band.  He didn't say this but I'd sort of envision a Daughtry type "band" where he kind of puts a band behind his name. So essentially, I think you're right on with his plans.  Ultimately, I think like you say, the control is a big part of it.  I think he wants to be able to operate on his own schedule to maintain his health and family obligations. It'll be interesting to see what sound the new material takes on.  It would seem logical to think it would be rock/melodic rock of some sort since that's really the type of music he's built his following with but he certainly has shown he can dabble anywhere from AOR to metal.
    • Glad I got to see them with Erik in front. All the best to him, definitely looking forward to his future outings when he is fully recovered. Would be cool to see him form his own band, where he could take control, and play around in different genres, from full on metal, to soothing AOR, the guy is so versatile.
    • Remedy - Crying Heart. One I've just seen thanks to the Iridium channel.  From the upcoming album. It's a Killer.
    • Let's not forget Benny Hill. What a Magnificent show that was.
    • Yeah... I dunno about that. It would be too cringe. Who knows? If I'm high enough, I might submit a video.
    • Yep great track and if you fancy being in the video for "The Feeling" nows your chance.
    • I'm proud to say that I had this single when I was a mere 8 years old. KISS were big down here then. Norman Gunston is Iconic for Aussies of my vintage.  The face ln the bottom left says it all. Hilarious.
    • All in all, this is a great story. Erik played a brilliant, well received, albeit short cameo with one of our favourite bands.  It was a win, win, win. A win for us, a win for Skid Row (the album certainly put them back on the map) and a win for Erik, adding this to his already impressive resume. The fact that it was so amicable with both parties is also great to see.
    • I really like this album - not every song on it but there are some surprisingly catchy melodies all over. Personally I think the singer adds great energy to the mix. It reminds me of the earlier Bai Bang ("closer to you")
