Just heard the first snippet on Melrock......sounds like the Martennson juggernaut steams on.......could have been lifted straight off the Eclipse album (which is no bad thing).

I never got into W.E.T. Not that I don't like JSS, because I do, but the debut just didn't hit home for me. Funny how some strike a chord, and others do not. I'm happy for all the W.E.T. fans out there, however.

I don't know what is your favorite style of rock, but for me this is a Melodic Masterpiece !

From the 1 minute sample I think this one will be stronger than the latest Eclipse and JSS. I liked both albums, enjoyed the JSS a fare bit, I found the new Eclipse a bit too 'nordic metal' (like Geoff would say) in places but still thought it was a good one.

Chocolate is great and peanut butter is excellent, although chocolate and peanut butter together is freakin' awesome!

I understand where you're coming from, and there's certainly a lot more members on this site in your corner than in mine concerning W.E.T.

Not sure what it is to me... I don't know, a bit too "modern" sounding I guess. I've been spinning the new Lionville CD the past few days, and THAT is a masterpiece for me. Sounds like 1986 all over again. I'm just not much for change, I suppose :)

Nether am I when it comes to change, and I kind of understand what you're saying about modern sounding(I guess)but it sounds NOTHING like modern bands(Hinder, Nickelback, Shinedown) or any other modern group.

Nordic metal lol. You guys make me laugh sometimes ;-) maybe one or two tracks with that slant otherwise it's blissful melodic hard rock.

To me Nordic Metal is plodding shite like Jorn writes now

The latest album is pretty shithouse, hey? I'd just call that plodding, poorly thought through hard rock, though.

For me, the nordic rock/metal is that gallopy, chanty type of viking rubbish. The Poodles have been known to do it, and 'Battlegrounds' on the Eclipse CD is a perfect (and ugly) example of what I refer to.

The WET sample is brief as a sexual encounter with a porn star would no doubt be, but it sounds awesome, as expected. Can't wait to hear this new one.

Wow I guess I like Shithouse and Ugly music because I love Jorn and find the new Eclipse almost flawless and that even means the "Battlegrounds" song.......

Have you heard 'Bring heavy rock to the land?' I like Jorn as much as the next guy, but this is a really, really... really weak disc. Surprised if you had much good to say about it.
