Dammit, I was just gonna ask the same thing. I believe Ian has this thread mixed up with another. Actually, I might take it further and suggest he might have this site confused with another. He may also have us mistaken for someone that cares about his culinary decisions.

Sorry mate, here we go:

 

Little Creatures Bright Ale:

 

Wal's Blonde 1.7kg (But I'm trying the Coopers Pale Ale syrup for money reasons... not sure how big a difference)

1kg Beer Booster (a fancy name for a type of sugar... again, you could probably try Brew Enhancer 2)

150g Wheat, Safale S-04 (Opt.) - (probably best to see a beer brewing shop about this one, like Country Brewer)

12g Perle (Dry) - this is the hops, in a "tea bag" type format

 

So I just picked up the Cooper's IPA kit, and I'm starting to think I should have purchased a few more items. The nice thing about the Brew House kits is it includes everything you need. Or, am I wrong? Is everything I need inside this can?

Karpetface, good to see you getting into the brew! The can, and 1kg of some kind of brewing sugar is essentially all you need to get your first batch going. It's fun playing with ingredients beyond that once you get a feel for it, though.

I agree with Geoff that golf is the most boring spectator sport ever (including darts) but the Ryder Cup is something special ... especially when it has such an exciting climax.
