Hi!

I'm Axldobby, twenty three years old french man. I'm fond of Hard-Rock and some Metal bands which sound firstly melodic. For example, I love the entire JADED HEART discography and also KICK AXE, KISS, QUIET RIOT, SURVIVOR, AUTOGRAPH, EDGUY, BOW WOW, GNR... Well, to be honnest, too long to be quoted entirely! :)

I'm used to visit HeavyHarmonies.com, it's a good database in my opinion to get informations about music. And tonight, I've decided to register myself on the board, 'cause I've seen an interesting topic about "KANE ROBERTS-Saints And Sinners" reissue from Yesterrock. I've got recently the limited edition, then I would like to tell my opinion about it :)

I hope to spend good time, here, and I beg your pardon for all future bad english mistakes, ah ah ah! :D

Thank you!

Axl'

Wow, I think everything started with "Welcome To The Jungle" of GNR. And this is how everything began... :D I really started to listen Hard-Rock when I was sixteen years old. Today, I'm twenty-three. At first, it was more "classic" Hard-Rock bands like GNR, AUTOGRAPH and BONFIRE. Some months later, EUROPE, JADED HEART (one of my fav' bands!). Today, I'm more in a Speed Melodic Metal attitude, listening some great gems from 00's like DIONYSUS, LAST TRIBE, SONATA ARCTICA, EDGUY or SAIDIAN sagas! :)

    • Eclipse played that same game when Apocalypse Blues came out.  They dropped that song as just a single and made no mention of an album at that point as far as I remember.  All they were doing was selling the 7 inch vinyl.  We know now though that they clearly knew a full album was coming as Erik said they basically were working on both albums at the same time and deciding which tracks would go on each album.  Granted, maybe they didn't know the full timing of album #2 at that point but they certainly knew one was coming. Maybe the same here.  Maybe will trickle out a few songs and then announce an album later this year or early next year when it's closer to release.
    • So, Danny posted how the song is doing on Spotify and someone asked if this means a new album soon. Danny just made vague replies and said "well there will be more stuff coming soon"
    • Funnily enough, I read that this afternoon when I went to add the album to my collection on the main page. I got the European version which has two bonus tracks ... if you don't have them, you really aint missing anything

    • Created and Posted this video recently in order to promote Ryder SRIII a little more.  I love this song, one of my personal favs from the record.   Be careful viewing at work though (NSFW), just for a couple of images in the video.
    • Named my HH self after the song Auslander on the album Stain. Love that track. Really like the whole album. It's like Living Colour's "Slave to the Grind" or "Dog Eat Dog".

Brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant (respectively current lead vocalist of Southern Rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member of .38 Special) were able to find room in their busy schedules for the first time in 1998, recording their collaboration album “Brother to Brother”: a tribute to their late brother and Lynyrd Skynyrd original singer and founding member Ronnie. Such release was highly acclaimed between the press and fans worldwide and brought the duo to record a follow up album, simply entitled “II” in 2001. Their collaboration during the years did not stop as they tapped their feet in a more Country-oriented style with the release of “Get Right With the Man” (certified Gold in the USA in 2005) and later on with “My Kind of Country” in 2007. Now the brothers once again reinvent themselves, offering a Christian-themed album encompassing their Rock and Blues musical roots (and with a touch of Country for good measure). The result “Always Look Up” is made up of songs that will touch the listener’s heart and soul, with an emotional depth that is truly second to none in today’s musical landscape. Experience the soul touching that only the music from the Van Zant family, can provide. You will see why they are icons of the American South, and musical heroes to millions around the globe!
