Aweaome compared to last album. It took me about several listens. I like it now. But this new one nails it.

There's a couple of tracks with rapping on, but most in in the style of DBS, which is good in my book. The best tracks are in the first half plus 'Tinfoil/Powerless' at the end.

Definitely a good thing to sound like DBS. I don't purposely avoid Linkin Park as I actually enjoy a lot of what I've heard from them, and I always listen to the albums if I get a chance... but I don't pursue them. Might try to put some effort into hearing this one.

Despite having a strong affection for most modern hard rock/metal, I simply cannot get into this band. Something about it just fails to grab my ears. I don't change the station when they come on, but they're certainly not a band I pay any attention to. For the record, the same sentiments apply to Dead By Sunrise as well. To each their own, I guess...
