Skunk Anansie - On Which site do they belong?

Have been catching up on my Skunk Annasie stuff over the last couple of days and forgot how good this band really are. I notice that they are not listed on the main pages on HH or across at the Brutal Metal site either. Personally, I really I think they should be on the main site musically, compared to over at BM, but before I list all their stuff, what are peoples opinions

definitely should be on the main site IMO - most of their music is straight ahead melodic hard rock to these ears. Great band.

Really? What do they sound like? I've heard the name once or twice but (based on the band name?) I have never heard them. Am I missing out?

I didn't know they were still around. I remember this one song which hurt my ears back in the day. Not my cup of tea at all and a bit too "alternative."

ha ha yeah, they are a mixed bag, so not surprised that some dont dig. They were a great live band though.

Difficult band to classify ... softer than most of the stuff on Brutal Metal, but I don't think they're hard rock either. A bit pop, a bit rock, a bit punk and a bit nu-metal is my best guess. I'm not sure they fit either site tbh.

I dont think you can get anymore melodic rock then the song I Can Dream, I mean I heard that song and was a fan ever since, they belong here, more so then anywhere else!!

As I said, I was listening to SA the other day and I was wondering whether to add them. they do have a few songs that are maybe not quite HH material but I am talking In general here and they pretty much fit the bill as far as my ears are concerned. There is a big variation of stuff stylewise on HH and I would say SA, whilst maybe being a little more hard to pigeon hole than your average hair band that appears on the main pages, still are melodic enough to a have their stuff featured. I'll add the cd's anyways I think and go from there.

Seems fair. I did really like the debut album and I don't think it was very HH-sounding, but their sound may have changed since. Think I'll have to check them out again soon. 'Weak' and 'Brazen (Weep)' are fantastic songs.
