The Todd LaTorre Queensryche put a link to my Hubpage about the split w/Tate on their Facebook page this morning. I was wondering why the page views for that article had suddenly blown up outta nowhere. not that I'm complaining!

 

Comments under it have been overwhelmingly positive except for one Tater Tot who sez that I have an anti-Tate agenda...hahahahaha!!!

Bleecker Bob's Records, a landmark indie record store in NYC, closed up shop this past week. It was one of my favorite haunts when I was in college and the news inspired this trip down memory lane, remembering the many Record Store Tours my friend Sean (aka our very own Dark Star) and I used to make into Manhattan back in the day.

Since SyFy Channel struck gold with Sharknado, they're obviously hoping for a repeat with their next crazy shark flick, cuz they've been pimping the hell out of GHOST SHARK (August 22). The flick stars Richard Moll and Mackenzie Rosman, who some of you might remember as little "Ruthie Camden" from "7th Heaven." With casting like that how can they possibly lose???

I figure if I wrote a blog about it, then I'd have to make it stick this time cuz otherwise I'll have to admit my failure all over the internet and look like a schmuck. Anyway, it's been seven days thus far and I haven't killed anybody yet!! Onward and upward!!

My kids found this craptacular on Netflix last weekend and of course wanted to watch it since we're "cat people." Total mistake! By the halfway point even they were laughing at the horrible acting, continuity errors, and other misfires. Turns out this flick was directed by a guy who usually does softcore dude porn, but he makes these quickie talking-animal "family comedies" on the side. That explains a skin crawlingly awkward scene with two teenage boys who seemed like they were in an awful hurry to get shirtless and jump into the pool together.
