That is the best worst album cover ever but yeah you would probably get your account deleted for posting that one.

Did you guys happen to see see this past weekend's "That Metal Show" (w/the Geoff Tate interview)? Their "Top 5" at the beginning of the episode was "5 Worst Album Covers (For Awesome Albums)." I was like "Eddie Trunk, you fargin' mangy corksucker! You stole my idea!" Haha.

I saw it and Tate is still a douchebag but i did enjoy the album cover top 5 but felt their were better options. How the hell is Sabbath's Never Say Die an awesome album?

I only have What a Joke and I'm not a huge fan but from the sound of it that one was a little different.

Yeah, What A Joke is about 50% cool and 50% filler. They were getting burned out on the "album and tour every year" cycle and it showed.

Having trouble keeping track of the drama in the Queensryche camp? Here's a handy dandy guide.

Wowee zowee... my articles are creepin' up on 25,000 page views!

If you haven't taken a gander at my infantile pop-culture babblings in a while, feel free to give'em a look and help a brotha get over the top...

...and many thanks to everyone who's supported my geekiness thus far.

what is your most read hub?

My top five are:

"My Nissan Cube Experience" (closing in on 1900 views)

http://fatfreddyscat...Cube-Experience

"It Came From The Bargain Bin: Witchslayer Gretl" (almost 1800 views)

http://fatfreddyscat...AYER-GRETL-2012

"Enter the Asylum: A Descent into B Movie Hell" (just over 1700 views)

http://fatfreddyscat...to-B-Movie-Hell

"Dokken to Return with BROKEN BONES" (just over 1500 views)

http://fatfreddyscat...th-Broken-Bones

"Retro Rock Review: Guns N Roses, CHINESE DEMOCRACY" (just over 800 views)

http://fatfreddyscat...-DEMOCRACY-2008

All of these are small potatoes compared with other writers on HubPages who rack up thousands of views a day but since I'm more or less a "niche" guy (i.e. I write about stuff that has a relatively small audience), I'm fine with these results thus far.

Mind you, I have no idea why these five are my top performers, I didn't do anything different with these than any of my other pieces... I don't stuff them with Google Keyword Search terms or worry about Search Engine Optimization or any of that crap. I simply throw these things at the wall and see which ones will stick. Most of the time I average about 200-300 views per piece, but these five just blew through the roof and they keep on goin'. I wish I knew the secret cuz I'd keep doing it. :headbanger:

...last time I checked, if you type "Dokken Broken Bones" into Google, my article is the third or fourth result that comes back. That's kinda cool.

...and hey, those of you who Facebook or Twitter or Google Plus or whatever, if I happen to write something ya dig, feel free to spread the word, pass the link around, share it with anybody you think might dig it too. I'm all about whoring for more page views. :D

Cracked the 25,000 page view mark over the weekend. Woohoo! Onward & upward!!

...and hey, over the weekend I also got an e-mail from the web master for Deliverance (the Christian metal band)... apparently the band members saw my piece on them and were so tickled by it that they're gonna put a link to it on their official site sometime this week. Neat-O!

Well done, Keef! I know I'm guilty of not commenting on them, but I look forward to and read every Hub article you write. Good, entertaining stuff. Even when I don't really care about the topic, I just enjoy your writing style. And that's awesome news on the Deliverance development. Total fan-boy moment, eh?

Keep up the good work!

Thanx man! Yeah, it was cool to hear from the "D" camp. It's always nice to know that someone other than my immediate family is reading my ramblings...

Anywhoo, the Deliverance web site posted about my article today w/a link. Check it, yo!

It's Schlock-Tober so of course I'm gonna put up some new horror movie reviews. Here's my newest - a zombie flick whose setting gives the proceedings an interesting twist.

I kicked off my annual Schlock-Tober series of Halloween horror movies with Stan Winston's "Pumpkinhead," so it seemed appropriate to write some Hub nonsense about it too:

I heard a new Warrior Soul track yesterday... which inspired me to write a new "Brief History of so-and-so" entry about 'em in honor of their forthcoming album.

...aaaaand another new one!! I've got a couple of these "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" entries in various stages of completion so I figured it was about time I started finishing some of'em and throwin' em out there. Don't be surprised if there are another one or two of these over the next week or so.

Geez, it's been almost a month since I last published a new Hub. Time to get things goin' again, cuz I want to have a total of 100 entries by the end of this year.

Anywhoo, today I present a new installment of "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" and this time the lucky recipient is Dee Snider's Widowmaker and their 1992 debut Blood & Bullets. Check it out, yo.
