lol exactly yeah well let's hope Pearcy put out at least a RATT-sounding solo album this one

Yeah I loved Infestation.......more of that would be great!!

I love 'As Good As It Gets', but for me it was the only track on the album that gets anywhere near the brilliance of 'Cellar', 'Invasion' or 'Undercover'. As a big Ratt fan, I thought the rest of it was okay, but nothing special.

am also a huge fan, but are you sure you don't like Infestation that much?

cause I think along with Out of The Cellar and Detonator, those three are Ratt's best, but 'Invasion' and 'Undercover' are also brilliant :beerbang:

100% certain mate. The songwriting is a million miles away from 'Cellar', 'Invasion', 'Undercover' and 'Detonator' imo. Hey ho.

Back to thread, I don't suppose you've heard anything about the fabled Garrison CD...?

7TH HEAVEN - Pop Media (Melodic Rock) / indie

Wow, if this is a new studio album I am very excited. I will admit I didn't really get a start on that billion song box set thing they released last year, but I'm still very keen to hear new music from them. :)

yup, an album of new songs, but don't know how modern and pop will they go, but definitely interested to find out

probably will be out in around a month or two from now, but the leak might be sooner as the band stated that they have around 2-3 more songs for the final mix, and they even play couple of new songs live

Just stumbled across a new Swedish AOR-type band called Sencelled which is on the same label as Houston and produced by Ricky Delin as well.

The album is out in September, samples sound quite promising:

Sencelled

And as already mentioned in another thread Blessed by a broken Heart have a newbie coming, which according to their press-release is a lot more "Hair-Metal" and less "Screamo" than its predecessor.

Yeah, Tesla are a decent enough band, but I'd rather sit through a marathon of America's Got Talent than listen to an "Acoustic Sessions" CD.

Yep, totally agreed. Tesla are also one of my all time favourite bands, but my all time favourite band could do an acousic sessions CD and I'd still rather look at nude photos of myself in a glass cubical, nude, in the central business district of Sydney than listen to it.

:rofl2:

It's a bit of a cynical money-making ploy too. (Releasing acoustic albums, not you being nude in a glass cubical in the central business district of Sydney.)

sorry folks but Tesla is one of the best business in the acoustic history of mankind so I probably don't mind another artist releasing acoustics, but Tesla, well, at least to me, is definitely a must buy
