Guitarist Gary Moore passes away

Apparently he had a heart attack.

Gary's passing came right out of the blue and when I heard he had died, I couldn't believe it to be honest. I was only playing some of his cd's the other day and have done so regularly for over 30 years, following his career, be it his Thin Lizzy days, right the way through his solo material. He was one of THE best,versatile guitarists of our generation and will seriously be hugely missed by the world of music in general. R.I.P Mr. Moore - you are a deserved legend and your name WILL live on forever.

Seen him in Belfast on his After The War tour and was just amazing, never really paid much attention to the guitarists until I seen him that night, a sad loss indeed

I am so saddened by the loss of Gary's passing,what a great guitarist with Thin Lizzy and i love alot of his early solo work,such a loss.R.I.P mate and have a few with Phil.
