Worst bit of acting I've ever seen

Just thought I'd share this...

This is an advert currently running in the UK. I think it may include the worst bit of acting I have ever seen. Check out the brunette at 0.42, she only has one line, but personally I find it hilariously awful. (I know, I should get out more.) Any other comments?

Also thought it might be fun if others can post examples of terrible acting in this thread too. :D

That acting was worth an emmy compared to the horrible acting in the "DVD Now" commercials that have been running on US television. Unfortunately I can't find the commercial on youtube but it has a guy and a girl talking about owning a DVD kiosk and the acting is truly laughable.

Does she stutter or is it just that vile accent trying to speak proper words? ;) Seriously, what an entirely uncomfortable advertisement.

James, what our non-Brits don't realise is..Women like that DO exist here in the UK,there's nothing better than having a girlie night out down at the local drum n bass emporium known as ASDA.After a nice cup of tea then selecting the best souped-up trolley,it's SHOP time, hoping and praying, discount vouchers are in the offing, saving 17p compared to TESCO's prices is such an orgasm.

Then, after the comparison shop,it's home to the lap-top to price compare, knowing in their heart of hearts Tesco's have been overcharging to a total of 38p on a weekly shop :bananamac::bananamac: ...As for the women, dildo's at the ready !

I hope you're satisfied Sainsburys !!

Now that might have made the advert more bearable. And the acting may have been more convincing...

On the subject of adverts .... have you seen those Rimmel make up ones? Like the girl with the green eye make-up on and the other one with teeth that look like she borrowed off a donkey.....Jebus, whatever happened to models that looked good. You could put these girls in a corn field to scare off crows.

"Get the London look", errrrm no I'll pass on that.

Can I get a hell yeah? It's funny you say this. I had plans today, big plans. But after a quick search on google they will not happen. I wanted to get a cast photo and do a survey about how many "goers" were in the cast. But I can't find a proper one. I have been watching the 2nd series of 'New Zealand's Next Top Model' and quite frankly I am disgusted. I can say in all honesty that out of the 14 girls they chose, if I were a single man on the prowl, there are at least half of the cast that I would not bed. Some of them are plain and simply ghastly. I've seen this happen on the American version too (though not in numbers this extreme), however I have never seen the Aussie version, funnily enough, because the c*nts only air it on Pay TV.

Either way, my point is that in the casting episodes and right up to the final picks for the top 14, there were plenty of delicious young ladies there for the picking. But it looks like being attractive no longer has anything to do with being a model. They seem to purposely dodge the beautiful young ladies and select disgusting dregs. It honestly appears as though modelling is now more for ugly girls rather than attractive ones. Attractive girls just seem to end up as extras in stupid movies, or nude models or porn stars. quagmire.gif

    • I posed him that exact question on his discord page as to what his future plans are.... He said he plans to relax for a bit, do his You Tube thing, keep writing new music and then will decide how to release that music.  He said as of now he's thinking he'll either do a solo thing or form his own band.  He didn't say this but I'd sort of envision a Daughtry type "band" where he kind of puts a band behind his name. So essentially, I think you're right on with his plans.  Ultimately, I think like you say, the control is a big part of it.  I think he wants to be able to operate on his own schedule to maintain his health and family obligations. It'll be interesting to see what sound the new material takes on.  It would seem logical to think it would be rock/melodic rock of some sort since that's really the type of music he's built his following with but he certainly has shown he can dabble anywhere from AOR to metal.
    • Glad I got to see them with Erik in front. All the best to him, definitely looking forward to his future outings when he is fully recovered. Would be cool to see him form his own band, where he could take control, and play around in different genres, from full on metal, to soothing AOR, the guy is so versatile.
    • Remedy - Crying Heart. One I've just seen thanks to the Iridium channel.  From the upcoming album. It's a Killer.
    • Let's not forget Benny Hill. What a Magnificent show that was.
    • Yeah... I dunno about that. It would be too cringe. Who knows? If I'm high enough, I might submit a video.
    • Yep great track and if you fancy being in the video for "The Feeling" nows your chance.
    • I'm proud to say that I had this single when I was a mere 8 years old. KISS were big down here then. Norman Gunston is Iconic for Aussies of my vintage.  The face ln the bottom left says it all. Hilarious.
    • All in all, this is a great story. Erik played a brilliant, well received, albeit short cameo with one of our favourite bands.  It was a win, win, win. A win for us, a win for Skid Row (the album certainly put them back on the map) and a win for Erik, adding this to his already impressive resume. The fact that it was so amicable with both parties is also great to see.
    • I really like this album - not every song on it but there are some surprisingly catchy melodies all over. Personally I think the singer adds great energy to the mix. It reminds me of the earlier Bai Bang ("closer to you")
