My top band that recorded in the 70's is without a doubt... THE RUNAWAYS.

 

Who without, it is hard to tell what musical path I may have taken.

 

And of course I must mention..UTOPIA, SWEET and NICK GILDER, PETER FRAMPTON, and FLEETWOOD MAC.

I like Manfred Mann's Earth Band a lot. They should've been more succesful than they were.

Uriah Heep, Deep Purple(especially the MK III and IV but also love II), Whitesnake, Bad Company, Kiss, Zeppelin, Priest, Riot, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Sabbath, Aerosmith, Clapton, and about anything else that rocked in that decade.
