Job For A Cowboy...yeah a stupid name but some heavy shit.

 

Bullet For My Valentine...well just a great band IMO.

 

Not a fan of the bands, but have to agree the names are dreadful!

One name that I always felt was embarrassing, despite the band being great, was Erotic Suicide.

Not only was their name bad enough, but the title of their debut (Abusement park) made it even worse.

When the CD came out I ordered it from a big chain store over here, and the girl behind the counter laughed at me.

I just said to her "Yeah, I know!"

 

I really couldnt blame her for laughing.

This is one of the silliest band names/covers I've ever seen, at least in the AOR genre. Meet the band "Puppetts":
