Do T.H.E.S.E. bands annoy you?

Wanted to look for Shout - Shout as well, but no chance. Self-titled albums are the curse of CD shopping on eBay! (Unless, I suppose, a band is called something like Unstoppable Kamikaze Idiots.)

Alsa another naming trend that I hope will die down in popularity soon. Remember when misspelling names was cool: Def Leppard, Ratt, Enuff Z'Nuff, Motley Crue, Roxx Gang, Slik Toxik? (At least they're easy to google for).

Or how about having numbers in your name: Blink 182, Eve 6, Marvelous 3, SR 71, Sum 41?

And I'm sure at one point there was a time when I could switch on the radio and the chances were that the band would have "The" at the beginning of their name.

Good point, I'd forgotten about that. For me the numbers thing was convenient, because I just avoided those bands as they were probably modern/nu metal.

Yeah, I don't mind those ones because as you say it's easy to search. The ones with 'The' at the beginning of the names annoy me too. I've now started to sort my CDs by the 'The', so all my 'The' CDs are together in the letter T. In the past I just ignored the 'The'.
