I think that pretty much sums it up.

 

Simple fact is, I cannot be the only seller that pulled out after October, so thats lost profit for eBay straight away.

Add to that the sellers that went with higher starting prices to cover the costs, and then didnt sell the items as it put buyers off, then you are talking huge lost profits for eBay.

 

Of course they would never admit that, but obviously, if it was such a raging success, why would they go back to the old way?
