Anyone into his solo material?

Will stay with WIG WAM. His solo material is not good for me.

Yeah I caught a couple of sound samples from his solo disc but was not very impressed. Wig Sam however is one of my favorite bands.

It is terrible. No matter how much you love Wig Wam (which I do) I encourage you to steer clear of this solo album.

A few of the tracks are ok, but some ain't that great it has to be said. As with other people that release solo albums that are in bands, I like that he tried to do something different from his day job, but on this ocassion it didn't really work. Take a note out of Kip Winger's book on how to do it properly.

Well, even Kip missed the boat too imo. I'm not sure why song-writing skills turn to crap on artist's solo releases. Although Johnny Lima seems to consistently turns out a quality product.

Agree much of that. I can hear Åge trying something different with his solo releases but it really borders on mainstream Euro rock pop at times.
