I like most of Saturday's lineup but the Friday lineup isn't nothing to write home about.

I'm not sure why that guy told me that FarCry was gonna be there and they're not.

It looks like there's some more tribute bands as well.

Yeah, Tango Down seems to be getting all the gigs, I wish them all the best but I wouldn't mind doing a gig myself...

I agree. Saturday is good, Friday not so hot. And why the guy would rather have a bunch of f'in tribute bands when I'm sure he could have snagged bands like KIX and Helix is beyond me.

But I was really hoping for Kix and Great White.

Hell Firehouse isn't even gonna be there and no Rockarma or FarCry.

If Rick and Chad wasn't gonna be there this wouldn't be worth my 8 hour drive.

I was really close yesterday to buying some April Wine and Head East just to get to know some of their tunes before seeing them live at this show.

I was really close yesterday to buying some April Wine and Head East just to get to know some of their tunes before seeing them live at this show.

I just picked up April Wine - Harder...Faster last week. Not bad, but a very short album at just over 30 minutes. I also have Nature Of The Beast, Walking Through Fire and Animal Grace so if you want me to fire them over give me a shout.

 

As for Head East, the only song I know from them is Never Been Any Reason (or whatever the title is). I guess I also have "Choice Of Weapons" but haven't listened to it yet. I didn't even know they were still together. I'd much rather see FarCry in that spot anyway!
