John Waite - For Japan Only

Queensryche - Queen of the Ryche

What's the John Waite - For Japan Only EP like. I've not heard of it before....worth tracking down?

Jez / Farenheit

Here's the tracklisting

Missing You - Extended Version

Tears - Live Version

Restless Heart - Remix Version

Euroshima - Remixed Extended

I think some of the stuff listed may have appeared at some time or another on B-sides to some of his U.K. 12" releases, I can't check I'm at work...but I'm sure the extended version of Missing You has surfaced on one of them... although I'm fairly certain the different version of Euroshima never has which is very different to the regular version, or the live version of Tears.

I found a link detailing the release here with a pic of the sleeve

Indeed, when it was first released in '87, the vinyl and cassette copies were titled "The $5.98 EP," whilst CD copies were titled "The $9.98 CD." Mine is on vinyl so it's always been "The $5.98 EP" in my mind...

Is that Live Sentence? If so my copy wasn't an ep. Or was there a different live album in ep format?

    • Nice.  Blind preorder done! I'd guess we probably won't see this album until the summer at the earliest but good news.
    • Once Upon a time in Hollywood - nice drama about friendship, an unexpected ending though, but fun. Also yet another nod from Tarantino to Spaghetti Western and Italo crime movies Scary Stories to tell in the dark - a fun thriller/horror and coming of age movie. Not too scary, but very engaging. Reminded me of It, but not as long.
    • I was listening to 'Shout at the devil' the other day and was surprised as how cool it actually is. We all have the same tunes on our lists, but 'Knock 'em dead kid' and 'Ten seconds to love' are great too. And the 'Helter skelter' cover. Yeah, it was a pretty awesome disc for it's time, to be honest. Credit where it's due, n' stuff.
    • Oh, how technical, regarding MSG. I thought those two were both McCauley/Schenker, aren't they?  Anyway, I always thought the same about 'TS' but I've actually rated it above 'Rocket Ride.' I know 'RR' had the best songs they've recorded, and I can only assume there were also a few clunkers too, whereas 'TS' was pretty solid throughout... even if the highs were not as high.
    • ha ha that's cos there's only about 10 good to great songs IMHO before anyone jumps down my throat
    • TS is weak imo.  that is McCauley schenker which I deem a different group
    • Seems Nikki Sixx is a fan. But there is probably something in it for him, so possibly just publicity... https://fullinbloom.com/nikki-sixx-new-favorite-album-taylor-hawkins-get-the-money/
    • New album out later this year on Metalapolis Records. From facebook: ETHEREALITY cover reveal and pre-orders now live! -https://maverickshop.bigcartel.com/ Ladies & Gentlemen, Children of all ages, Maverick & Metalapolis Records proudly brings to you the cover of our upcoming 2020 release . . . Ethereality! Original artwork by the hugely talented Cardaan from the Ukraine! -https://instagram.com/cardaart?igshid=y631stg27is9 We cannot wait to hit the studio and get these songs recorded for you all! It is definitely shaping up to be our best record yet, something that we do not say lightly! To everyone who pre-orders using the ‘big cartel’ link at the top of this post, your orders will be posted the day before the worldwide release date. Also you will be personally thanked by name in the liner notes of the sleeve, just like with our previous record 'Cold Star Dancer'. Because without you, we simply wouldn't be here - you are the lifeblood of Maverick! Along with our brothers in the Metalapolis Records family we thank you all for the continued support and promise to release the best record we possibly can! Release date TBA after completion of recording. All the love, Dave, Ryan, Richie, Ric & Jason
    • Actually this was released a week before last Christmas (pun intended)
