The recent Japanese Vow Wow re-issues are really sweet. Managed to bag the lot for a reasonable price from CD Japan!!

The Japanese version of 'Helter Skelter' is called 'Vibe' by the way. It has a slightly different track listing and a completely different cover.

Junky, be careful with the Queensryche cds. The bonus tracks are great but if you have the originals hang onto them as well. Some of the mastering just seems to be "hot" IMO. By that I mean plenty of pops and cracks that were not present before. Don't really seem remastered, just louder. Again, just my opinion.

By that I mean plenty of pops and cracks that were not present before. Don't really seem remastered, just louder. Again, just my opinion.

One of the CDs on my want-list is Roadmaster's "Live + 5".

 

 

I picked that up for a steal on ebay about a month or two back. Have been searching for years for a copy. I honestly thought that I would get out bid bigtime on it, but I was the only bidder and in the end got it for about $20. Good luck finding one mate as it is well worth getting ,especially for the excellent studio tracks.!

To these ears it sounded much better.

I too have the Mindcrime Remaster, and to tell you the truth I'd rather have the original. It's sounds great, don't get me wrong, but I don't need - don't want - the bonus tracks. IMO they ruin the mood. When I come to the end of Mindcrime, I either want to hear it again from the start, or hear nothing at all. I don't want - what is it, two?, misplaced live tracks. Put those on the Livecrime Remaster, but not on the studio release. I've kept those off my iPod.
