Queensryche-"Operation:Mindcrime"

Ive never heard it either. I did see them at a MOR fest a couple of years back (I went because Journey were playing ) and I thought they were shite.

 

They were quite disappointing at that gig, outside venue, short greatest hits set! - Journey rocked though!!!

 

'Mindcrime' is a monster album though for me.

 

I may have to check it out at some point - it certainly is one of those iconic albums. & with so many people on here lovin it - it must be pretty good.

 

 

Queensryche never appealed to me initially but I gave this album a go and what a great album it turned out to be.

 

 

Fantastic live band they were but that was back in the early 90`s

Man I thought for sure Mindcrime would have been one of those albums that everybody likes. I guess you need to have an aquired taste for Queensryche, I've seen them live 3 times and they still the best 3 shows I've ever seen.

I just can't get over the fact that some people have never heard it. Even after 20 years it's still at #2 on my all-time fav list. Right behind Images & Words from Dream Theater.

"The Warning" may be my favorite album by the band but "Mindcrime" is their best. After all these years it still has an impact on me. Actually saw them on this tour way back when.

The one time I saw them, Tate was having an off night but the band was super tight

The Live MIndcrime DVD is better for a quiet private moment than any monster porn DVD out there. It does more for me than a great scene with Jenna or Krystal.
