Hardline

Good call, I think I still like Journey, but I like Hardline a HELL of a lot more than Bad English...

I like Hardline way more than Joruney or Bad English.

I was just listening to some Bad English last night so I thought I'd start this poll just to see how others felt.

What's "Joruney" like? I've never heard them before...

With love, another typo nazi... ;)

Joruney is a Journey tribute band featuring lead vocalist Jorn Joruney.

Sheesh don't you know anything?

Crap, I should have known. I have all Jorn Joruney's solo CD's too... :(

What about the stuff he did with Malellenium and Misterplan?

You'd think that by those band names that this Jorn Joruney would be into dudes.

Jorn Joruney the greatest singer, probably ever. :headbanger:

JOURNEY for me too. 2 great albums from B.E doesn't come close to the output of Journey over a much longer period. Bad English actually had a load of demos for a third album that still float around on eBay, & they are astonishingly good.

Do you have these demos? I'd love to hear them. Can someone hook a brother up?

Journey...even though John Waite was in BE.

Tsk tsk. I thought for sure you'd have picked the correct answer. :(

Perhaps you misread it, that WAS the correct answer... ;)

Did you vote for Journey?

If by "John Waite>Steve Perry" you mean Steve Perry would eat John Waite for breakfast then I am 110% in your corner bro... ;)

BE just left me cold. I bought the first one as soon as it came out and I was just very disappointed in it. It sounded overly polished and not enough edge for me... please buy the Rockarma anyway... :crying:

Bad English by a mile. Better songs, better vocalist (by 14,000 miles) and overall I'd prefer those 2 albums to anything I've heard from Journey.

Surely this thread should just be celebrating what awesome songwriters Schon/Cain are ??!

I have been listening to Bad English a lot of late, used to have both albums when they first came out a long time ago, sold them as I was disappointed in both. Now 20 odd years later I am loving these but against Infinity, Evolution, Escape and Frontiers, Journey still reign supreme!

    • New video for 'I Can't Wait' coming later this week.
    • Ah, the old record label make a quick buck off bands they dropped years ago sets where they are just bare bones albums with no bonus material. I thought maybe I missed box sets with bonus stuff. But once again, still reasonably priced.

    • Dredging this up again, as you can now find this set new for about $50-60 shipped on eBay. I just finally bought it to get the 5.1 channel blu-ray version of the album. $179 for the set? No fucking way. But $50? Ehh, ok. more reasonable IMO.
