This weekend I picked up Saxon- Denim and Leather , and Helloween- Keeper of the Seven Keys pt2........both very rockin!

Didn't really pick anything up this week....but I've been eyeing the Saxon Chronicles DVD and the Cure Boxed Set of B-Sides and Rarities.....

 

Oh...and Captain Howdy.....you'd be proud, I watched Lita's DVD last night again. What a KILLER DVD....love the interview stuff....as well as the live stuff. Oh....and all of her videos in one package doesn't hurt either!!!

I just got Cornerstone's debut album "Arrival". Really excellent vocals from my fellow Scotsman Dougie White. Wasn't really expecting much but it's a very good classic hard rock album.

Bubbasmama, i would suggest you start with Intuition and Tell No Tales (those are the ones people always refer to as the classics). I also like Realized Fantasies but i know a lot of people think they are trying to sound too American on that album - see what you think. The other 2 albums are a little different but no where near as bad as certain fans make out.

Also, if you like Tony Harnell, try Westworld (his other band - very good melodic hard rock) or he also has a solo album which is mostly cover versions.

I've had the Lita Live & Midnight snack on VHS for years but its nice to get both of them & the other stuff on one DVD rather than release them individually!

I got a copy of the Bad English bootleg called "Unreleased".

Awesome set of songs even if the sound quality is awful.

I hope this sees the light of day at some point because these are as good as anything on the 2 albums they did release.

If you are the kind of person who has "Death To False Metal" tatooed on yer ass then this is the greatest thing since Manowar were slicing themselves open.

 

Me, i think it's ok but i could take it or leave it. Some nice riffs, some decent songs.

 

I'm sure the pure metal heads will tell you it's essential.

SHK, that Hanoi Rocks album is really excellent IMO.

It's been out in the UK for over a year now and it's the best sleaze album to come out in that time.
