Mitch Malloy talks about his time as lead singer for VH

Malloy's debut is fantastic and I've been a fan for a VERY long time.

And that VH track is really good. Needs a bit more "ummph" behind it... you know, a pinch harmonic, heavy trem and tap solo from Ed and some big mid 80's production and mastering, but the vocals are still awesome and Mitch would have been a perfect fit in my opinion.

Shame it didn't happen.

This tune was 'ok'.....as gener8tr said, it needs more...and, I guess if it ever went to be officially recorded and produced it would have been. I did like the vocals....not sure whey the hell they went with Cherone...lol

I've always been a huge DLR fan, and I was very happy to see the band reunite for a couple tours and a "new" album.

But that time has now passed... At this point I'd like to see a Sammy reunion or add Malloy to the fold and tour with their entire catalog rather than just the first five albums. Not holding out much hope for Ed and Sammy burying the hatchet, however.
