Andy...no, mail fraud is when you PAY for all the items and you don't get what you PAY for!!! Not, paying for half and then dictating what you think you should get for that.... :lol There was no 'first order'....there was ONE order...and you didn't pay for it all....bottom line....

Next time pay for what you want and you'll probably get it..........but, oh.....there won't BE a next time.........sorry..... :drink:

Dare......I provided some information on the Co-op where 'Melissa' lives....give them a ring, it may be helpful to you....

paypal's service has got slower as time marches on it seems. Now if the money paid was taken from your credit card and not paypal's funds then I urge you to contact your credit card provider to remedy the situation, you'll get your answer within 10 working days, from what I have heard whatever case you put up gets closed within 3 working days, those guys are quick, I can not ever recall hearing anything bad about them, this is from about 20 odd cases, if you are in my situation then you'd get a refund and some peope have actually got the full amount outlaid for a purchase refunded when they requested for a partial one due to not getting everything they asked. Something worth thinking about I say and following through :drink::headbanger:

all the best

Do you think contact with your credit car provider would fix something??

If so, what can they do..???  Now my money is on that cheater´s purse.

Any experience with this issue?

Thanks.

If the transaction was over 30 days ago, Paypal won't do a thing. That happened to me a few months ago so I disputed the charge with my credit card company. They removed the charge, sent me a form to fill out with the reason I disputed the charge and contacted Paypal about the chargeback (a separate, substantial charge imposed on retailers by the credit card company if a charge is disputed).

Paypal sent me a nasty email saying I should have tried to resolve it through them and that they were considering suspending my account. I told them that they needed to check their records - I DID try, and they did nothing. I was in a seriously bitchy mood that day, so I told them that I would seek legal counsel because they were protecting fraudulent sellers in order to avoid paying the cost of chargebacks. Needless to say I got a much friendlier message from them a few days later saying that they had levied the cost of the chargeback against the seller and suspended their account.

Paypal and eBay like to take the easy way out by imposing stupid rules that don't do a screwed-over buyer any good at all. Be sure to wait until they confirm that they won't do anything else to help you, then dispute the charge through your credit card company. Good luck! :)

Fuck paypal...they won't do anything...the only way paypal will "reverse" the charges (get your money back) is if there is money in the seller's account...& the bitch has obviously already transfered all monies sent to her to her checking account. I would suggest everyone who paid with paypal call them up to bitch about this, & then go to your bank and file a claim to dispute the charges (if the money was electronically withdrawn from your bank account). Better yet, if your paypal payment was charged to a credit card, you can dispute the claim with them. My bank is refunding my money & then going after paypal.

Also, if there was any doubt that the bitch purrfect-kat is behind this scam, check this out...

i have never had any oppotunities in approaching my credit card provider for any fraudulent activity but I will me making an appointment with my credit card accounts manager of my business regarding a certain unsatisfactory transaction I experienced next year. I just hope I can get back what I'm owed instead of every cent I paid otherwise it would be unfair to the seller. Time will tell :)

metalheads rippin metalheads off, what's their life come to one may ask.

if kelly snow / mellissa stott who's been masquerading as purrfect kat is in way responsible for these malicious acts of thievery it 'd be another sad case and an ugly dent in this close knit aor / melodic rock / glam / sleaze trading community, she knows her music, she should be commended for and respected for her extensive knowlege of the scene which pj has verified by stating she knew more than him...

if kelly snow / mellissa stott who's been masquerading as purrfect kat is in way responsible for these malicious acts of thievery then there needs to be huge sign on every metal website warning traders about her and her associate steve sp.. To forever drive them away from being involved in any metal scene.

:drink::headbanger:

its so sadening to relaise these things are happening and there are dishonst people out there :hammer::angry::(

Like I said before, Paypal takes forever to either respond or resolve a problem.

PayPal's number is 1-888-221-1161

Nearly all credit cards have purchase insurance so the credit card will pay your money back into your account and then the credit card company will go after Paypal for reimbursement.

That would be my advice.....go through your c/c company.

I am new to all this but needed to air my views on sspert.hotmail and my recent transaction with this seller.I bought several of their CD's on ebay only to find they were badly copied CDR's with no cases and badly printed, flimsy inserts. Most of their customers are international buyers which makes it harder to chase up information needed. When I contacted the seller,I was informed by him that he was not responsible as he had lent his ebay account to another person to use.He went on to give me her name, address and phone number. His account has now been suspended by ebay pending investigations. If this seller truly believed that it was OK to sell all her illegal copies then why is she not prepared to refund peoples payment when they complain. This is an outright case of fraudulent activity and these people need to be stopped.

For those people who were burned on this one, check this out (especially if paypal ended up bending you over as well)...

I've closed my paypal account...I would advise those who are pissed off with them to do the same.

I like many others, were tempted to bid in this auction, however, after talking to some collector friends was dissuaded because of the skeptical offerings.

I've read the fallout and truly know how some of you feel, losing your hard earned cash, receiving unwarranted negative feedbacks, being duped with CDRs instead of original pressings and finally.......being worked over and discarded by PAYPAL!!!!

(I too was scammed on E Bay last July and raped by PAYPAL)

I know how most of you are probably feeling about PAYPAL and it's way of doing business. They are focused on $$$$$$$$$ and not on their customers. After my experience, I was prepared to cancel my PAYPAL account and go on my merry way without them. Again, my good collector friends dissuaded me from taking action which I would later regret. It was pointed out to me that by not offering PAYPAL as a payment option in my auctions, I would lose many good bids and contacts because so many buyers/CD collectors want the convenience of paying with PAYPAL. And yes, it is convenient. I enjoy using it to pay for auctions I bid on as well. After careful thought, I licked my wounds and continued on.......although much much more cautious and naturally aware of who I am transacting with now.

For those who may be thinking likewise......rethink your situations carefully and don't act from emotion, but determine how closing your PAYPAL accounts will affect your CD collecting, auction sales and convenience.

Finally, the day is coming when there will be payment options similiar to what PAYPAL currently holds a monopoly to. Possibly VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS will get the revelation that this is a wide open market for their operations (which are governed by state and US federal regulations unlike PAYPAL who claim to be transfer agents instead of banking operations). That would be a great day for all of us to see some competition in this money transfer market which would make companies like PAYPAL responsive to their customers..........

Geez, Delbert, do you work for paypal or something...lol. I had to close my paypal account because even though my bank refunded my money (they refused to fund paypal's withdrawel), paypal debited my account AGAIN when my bank did the reversal. I had to file a second claim with my bank & then lock my accounts against any electronic withdrawels made by paypal. Paypal didn't like that one bit & sent me a nasty email...I told them that it was unfortunate for them that they insisted on trying to fund a fraudulent transaction, because my bank wouldn't allow it. If paypal wants there money back so badly, they can go after purrfect-kat, er, I mean sspert!

I've had decent luck with PayPal, but unlike some of you collectors, I don't really spend big bucks on rare cd's. PayPal has only given me a hassle one time and I called them and things got settled quick. They actually didn't give me too hard of time. On the other hand, I've heard some real horror stories about them. As long as they get their money, they don't care whoit's from.

I learned many years ago at a seminar that 7 of every 10 people who have a bad experience will tell friends and pass it on. 3 of every 10 people who have a GOOD experience will pass it on. With odds like that, a business can't afford to screw up too many times. I guess it's on an individual basis that you'll have to make your decision about PayPal.

In case anyone missed it before, Paypal makes it hard to contact them other than by e-mail so again their number is:

1-888-221-1161

Best of Luck!
