The first great Def Leppard album, in my opinion (High & Dry just didn't cut it for me), loaded with gobs of great songs, but my favorite is "Too Late for Love" (yep, sided with the majority there). However, my second-favorite track hasn't received a single vote, making me wonder if I'm the only one who appreciates the song, and that song is "Die Hard the Hunter."

Your not the only one that digs "Die Hard the Hunter", I think it's a killer track and there's not really a bad song on this release.

I went with Too Late as well, but damn if I don't really like every song off their last good release... ;)

Pffffffffffffffffffffth. :P

MJ I'm still waiting for the Hysteria Favorite Song poll.

I'm surprised she hasn't done one already just to piss off all of us Hysteria Haters. ;)

One of, if not my favorite Def Leppard album! There are so many good songs to choose from!!! I am going to go with "Photograph"

In a close second is..."Too Late For Love"!

Probably their BEST album to date...

Man, picking a favorite is NOT easy.. I could have gone with the tunes that got a ton of radio play.. Meaning Foolin, Rock of Ages, or Photograph.. But that's too easy....

So I went with.. the opener.. Rock, Rock Till you Drop!!!

Hey saw em live like 4 times, and three times they opened with that song!!! :banger:

With that vote, now every single song has at least one vote... including 'Action! Not Words'. Who'd have guessed...

I think polls like this are great, especially with the inclusion of voters in their youth, like me. ;) Because radio play never enters the equation as "we" were too young back then and can't remember the radio days. :)

I just listened to this disc the other night WOW, phenomenal...Die Hard The Hunter by a mile

Definitely one of the more underated tunes on the disc. More people should give this great song a listen!

Yeah I thought that one would have had more votes as well. The only other song that compares to it with it's tempo and style would be Rock Rock(Till You Drop) and it only got one vote.

And that's probably my second favorite on the disc. Man, what an opening song!! :banger: Long gone are the days when Def Leppard took away my breath with the first song on a disc. High N Dry's "Let It Go" does the same thing. :banger:

Same here, I see we have similar tastes when it comes to Leppard.

"Comin' Under Fire" steals the show for me...awesome track!!!

Good to hear I'm not the only one that loves that track. :drink:

I am very surprised this song is running third. I figured I'd be the only one choosing "Comin' Under Fire" what with all the great songs on that disc.

'Comin' under fire' and 'Die hard the hunter' are easily two of my favourite tracks on this disc. Especially 'Comin' under fire'...

    • My Japan copy showed up today. I was critical of the Part I album as that one just did very little for me.  Basically, I just didn't think the songs were all that catchy and/or memorable.  I played that album a handful of times trying to get into it and gave up rather quickly which was disappointing as I loved Wired.  Maybe I just had too high of expectations or something.  I know many liked that album but for me at least, that Megalomanium I album would be ranked toward the bottom of their discography. Well, after hearing this new one, I'm feeling the opposite....Here I feel like they nailed it and I'm digging this one after the first listen.  I basically couldn't wait to start it over and listen again. The first 5 songs just come out guns a blazing with catchy, hook filled songs.  Yeah, we've heard 4 of those songs as singles but I almost purposely haven't listened to those songs much so they'd still sound fresh when the album dropped.  Then the one song we hadn't heard, All I Want, is just another upbeat, catchy tune. The 2nd half though is where things probably get more interesting.  Songs like Dive Into You and To Say Goodbye are the kinds of varied balladish/mid-tempo type songs I've been wanting Eclipse to mix things up with and there's 2 of those songs here, both very well done IMO.  Then there's a couple heavier tunes like Divide & Conquer and One In A Million that sound like stuff that could've been on Bleed & Scream.  And then a couple other melodic rockers with Until the War is Over and Pieces. I also feel like this has some of the better lyrics that Eclipse has had in awhile.  I think a lot of their material recently has been just been sort of lighter subject matter, 3 minute "simplistic" romps.  I felt Part I had a lot of that which kind of contributed to it being less interesting.  Here though, it seems like some of these songs get a bit deeper and can feel more emotion in songs like Still My Hero, Dive Into You and To Say Goodbye for example.   Anyways, where Part I is among my least favorite Eclipse albums, I'd say my early impression of Part II is that it'll be among my favorite Eclipse albums.
    • New song 'Unbreakable'.
    • Solid hard rock album. Nothing really stood out to me, but it’s solid.
    • New album 'Mysteria' out December 13th through Metalapolis Records. Tracks: Sex In Harmony Angelina (Talk To Me) Bad Dream That Night Only You Arms Around I Don’t Want To Fall In Love Mysteria Eighteen In Love If I Had You
    • Yeah I get the same BS. So I just downloaded all 3 eps....
    • Just kidding by the way!!
    • Great riff and bridge. Hoping for some faster paced songs. 12 songs in total so think there will be good variety. 👍
