Speaking of Celtic Frost, has anyone heard of its predecessor HELLHAMMER? Now, that's one scary shit. Scary in a way that a band as worst as this was ever signed.

Scary???? As in jolting you out of your seat scary? I've heard some eerie-sounding stuff over the years, but nothing I would classify as having actually frightened me as an adult. I've heard tracks that angered me; nauseated me; bored me; uplifted me, and saddened me, but I can't recall ever hearing a song that made me want to call out for Mommy. About the closest was Elenor Rigby when I was a kid and I'd been freaked out by a Joan Crawford movie. The ominous cello and violin on that track reminded me of the hideous, old sea hag.
