  1. I love this...Eddie is such a prick. https://www.facebook.com/SammyHagar/videos/625127390857073/
  2. It's old stuff, floating around on the internet and is fan made.
  3. just put that comment right ;-) You honestly don't like 'Pride' or 'Mane Attraction?' Why do you dislike good music? I dont dislike them, but there is so much better from the same period. I can guarantee that in their year of release they will be back in the pack. There's enough filler on 'Mane Attraction' that I doubt it'll stand out in it's year of release, but I'll be surprised if 'Pride' isn't near the top of the list in it's year of release. just checked - it's a 1987 release - seriously? near the top of the list?? I doubt it will make the top 25 looking at other releases in 87. we'll see. Just realised I havent even rated Big Game in '89 lol. Must correct that. I don't have too much of a feel for 1987 yet, but at the moment I can't see why it won't give the top 10 a good nudge. But don't quote me on that yet... would need to see a fuller list to verify that. As for 'Big Game,' I think you were already correct, omitting that piece of shit from your ratings. It's going to seem like I am doing this on purpose at some point but I have to disagree with Geoff once again. Big Game is just as good as Pride. Main Attraction was good but had way too many fillers.
  4. Is it possible PayPal filed the charges? Paypal is about as helpful as an asshole on my elbow so I wouldn't bet on it
  5. Or we could just say it's a very good album in the 80-85% range where it landed anyway?
  6. haha Vince is bad as usual ? I saw them on this tour and they were great. Maybe had an off night?
  7. It wasn't one fight with Don that caused it. There had been friction for many years and they had just had enough I think. The reunion with George lasted from 1994-1997 or 1998 I believe. Surprised they made it that long...
  8. I have only liked Capricorn from his solo stuff. Freak of Nature has it's moments but nothing close to how great White Lion was.
  9. I agree 100%. I don't hear any filler on the album and I'm not even going to get into trying to compare them to PBF...
  10. I don't think there is any filler on either album, though DCE is my favorite of the two.
  11. Nelson definitely sold more units....mostly due to the Nelson family name (and that they were twins with long blonde hair) pushing publicists/marketing companies to jump on that bandwagon. I guess the fact that Tyketto and Nelson were on the same label made it hard for them to get the press when Geffen jumped behind Nelson. Among the many hard rock fans I hung around, and knowing the scene back then......girls were the biggest fans of Nelson because they were a bit poofy sound wise (and had the twin blond thing goin' on), while most hard rockers went in the direction of Guns N Roses, Skid Row, Firehouse, Steelheart, etc. It would be interesting to see if Nelson even had the strength (even though their album sold well) to tour as a headliner in arenas back then? I know I never heard of them doing so?? Maybe you remember? I agree with you about Danger Danger's second album.....pretty good, for sure. In the end, because I LOVE most of the music of our era....and all of it aftward, I own all of this stuff...and can appreciate it and am glad they a lot of bands still put out new music. Hell.....the new Trixter is excellent and they were certainly minority status back in the day, but that hasn't stopped them from really putting out some great stuff over the years! **Road of a Thousand Dreams being on of my favorite songs, period!** Tyketto opened for Nelson in 1991. They had a show in my area and they were both great live bands.
  12. I think the main, massive difference is the complete and utter lacks of hooks and that commercial edge with the new Lynch Mob stuff. Those first two albums are chock full of hooks and full of songs that, if given the chance, would have done well on radio at the time. Bluesy, but also melodic and "anthemic." This new shit has absolutely 0 of that in it. You're right, it's still got the bluesy edge, but it's lost every single other element that made their sound what it was. There has been one single good song on their last albums ('Before I close my eyes' is excellent) but that is it, and they used to be the norm for these guys. Anyway, if you think they still have anything in common with those first two albums, more power to ya, but I definitely do not agree, and I think you'll find that most would also not agree. In a nutshell, they used to great but they are now very shit. And who on earth likes, let alone loves 'Belly to Belly??' I admit that I think 'Ultraphobic' is a cool disc and probably about the best sell-out disc bands from "our genre" offered up, but 'Belly to belly' is as bad as any and all the rest. And I can't remember anyone else ever really singing it's praises? I actually like Belly To Belly quite a bit but Ultraphobic may be my favorite Warrant album.
  13. I wouldn't put Norum on this list but there are plenty for sure.
  14. Wazbones was the cd that introduced them to me and is still my favorite release from them. I haven't care for much since minus maybe the EP was ok.
  15. You guys are funny about the production
  16. Continued bickering with Don Dokken...nothing new. It's not even that. George has lost the plot. He was my favorite guitarist. Now he flat out SUCKS. No, I know that. He definitely sucks and has for a while. I was just answering the question about why he left/was fired. Two ego maniacs who can't get along and both have lost a step...or ten.
  17. Continued bickering with Don Dokken...nothing new.
  18. In the end, just like the rest of his solo stuff...we'd all rather hear a Ratt record.
  19. Funny, for me the last song sounded the best. All of them are just good but nothing great. Basically like everything else released today...it fails to compare to the early stuff. The first two BR albums were awesome.
  20. I have to say just for the record, both JBJ solo albums are great, especially Destination. That cd didn't leave my player for 6 months when it came out. I'd rather have that then a new BJ album. The last one that was just ok was Bounce. It along with Crush had about a half an album of good songs. Everything since has been shit.
  21. I have only been able to spin it a few times but I don't see it ever moving up my list. In trying, I found it really hard to rank their first five albums. Damn they're good....
  22. It's better than their last release but falls short of their first 4 releases in my opinion.
