I don't know where all this great bands come from here in Sweden but this is just great sleaze in the CrashDiet vein. The up-and-coming sensational four-piece modern metal band ToxicRose was formed in Stockholm Sweden in 2010. They produced it themselves, they couldn't afford a producer since they brought in Randy Staub to mix the album. That's probably why it sounds good.

Heavens EDge is outstanding this years I didn't thought I was going to see them in my lifetime. I will be there most likely for the whole weekend. First SWeden Rock then Firefest. What a great year of rock this is going to be. Maybe we'll meet over there.

So he can call his group Queensryche as well. Who owns the name you can wonder. The other Sryche say that they will go back to the good old days with JImbo Barton at the production helmet. Which diection will Tate's Queensryche head.

This new track sounds like a great continuation of Pandemonium. But I'm of a completely different opinion than all the rest here at the forum I guess: here is my list of the first three: 1. Future world (That was one of the first cd:s I ever bought back in 87, It is a mega-classic IMO, no weak track except the last song. Yellow rain is just amazing and one of their best) 2. Red, Hot and Heavy (Back to back is on that album and that says it all. Was blown away when I first heard Back to back and night danger on the radio back in the eighties.) 3. Sin Decade. I must add that i Really love the more powerful side of Pretty maids. Saw them in mid december again and it was great as usual.

The singer is great IMO. Has e very diverse voice voice over the album. I get vibes from Steve Lee fronted Gotthard in chorus of Restless Heart

Really like their new one. Less metal than Brace the impact. Well worth buying,,,,

My two fave by Savatage (miss them alot): is propably: Hard for love Strange wings My fave albums is: Hall of the mountain king Power of the night Edge of thorns I also really miss the Bach fronted Skid Row and Icon with Stephen Clifford on vocals

They are will supposedly announce a new line-up tomorrow,,, I had a couple of drinks yesterday with the new singer at the Accept concert. Fantastic lad and a great singer. He will fit well. I promised him not to tell anyone or he had to kill me,,, ;-))

I were into synth-pop in my early years like Alphaville, Howard Jones, Falco, Thompson Twins etc. But in 85 a new friend got me into Accept, Dokken, Ratt, Judas Priest, Fifth Angel and Dagger. From that day, my life has been hardrock and Heavy Metal in all sorts. My first big gig was Priest: Fuel for life in early 86.

This the best metal album that has come from SWeden for a long time. It beats the last Bloodbound releases by a mile. Georg from AOR Heaven has done a good summery. What a monster debut from this hot new Swedish metal outfit feat. It´s really good. They would propably had made it big if they had been signed by Geffen. They had an album on cdbaby called "save the nations" from 2005. I wonder if that is any good? Great voice by the way!!!

Great album. Hearts catch fire is a fantastic. There is only one small downside of the album IMO. Reece is a great vocalist but he´s been everywhere the last couple of years and I start to get tired of him. I loved him on the Accept album Eat the heat and the first Bangaloir but nowadays my ears are fairly tired to hear him.

Have to agree with you Geoff. It's hard to judge which songs are up there in the top but for me this is the second best song ever just after Goin goin gone (Danger Danger). Joel Ellis is just amazing on this cd. (especially the more melodic songs). Just listen to where eagles fly which is for me one outstanding vocal performance.

I saw Heat the second time this summer in the tiny rockbar in my hometown. Different venue Sweden Rock but the really owned the night again. Same song list as at SRF but it does not really matter. They rule!!! No worries Bernd. I don't have anything against the eastern countries either, just their voting is disturbing, especially since there are so many countries.

We finally won. Thomas Gson is one of the biggest song writers for the swedish part of the contest. He usually have a large amount of songs in the Swedish qualifying year after year. He also wrote Dynaztys song this year. I also think he wrote the Spaninsh song as well this year. Loreen Has a fantstic voice. I'm 100 % backing you about the voting. It has become more and more of a joke the since all the eastern countries joined the competition. I honestly thought that SWeden would never win again.

What can you say. He has completely lost it. It will probably not be an album as good as Mindcrime ever by any group... We can hope that with Tate out of the way they will go back to more of a classic QR album. A dream would be if Degarmo comes back again. I think they need his great song writing abillities.
