  1. Has anyone purchased the Poison CD at Circuit City? They were supposed to have a free Poison shirt with the CD.I was wondering what it looked like, etc.,before I drive 30 miles to Circuit City to get it. I also picked up the Tesla CD today at Best Buy with the bonus disc and it is great.A lot of the songs you may not be familiar with but that to me is what has always been cool about Tesla is they do covers that you haven't heard the original of 100 times. They do songs they grew up on and probably played back in the garage/bar days.Where as although I like Poison their covers have always seemed to be covering popular songs just for popularities sake. Now I just hope Tesla comes around here on tour so I can get the second disc to the set!
  2. What I think is funny is that this Glamwhatever person is supposedly selling things from his store in Blytheville that went out of business and all the CD's he has sold on ebay have been of hard rock/AOR bands. Now I live in Arkansas and know for a fact that Blytheville's not a big city and if there was a store there that sold alot of this type of music and with Lonnie liking this kind of music wouldn't he have frequented this store quite a bit?But yet "Carlos" doesn't know Lonnie.Hmmm...
  3. Picked LA Guns and Queensryche.Queensryche was really a no brainer, but it was real tough picking the other one,but I ended up picking Guns because I thought back to when I was 14 and that came out and the feeling that came over me when I first bought the tape got home and put it on and the first blast of No Mercy it just kicked my ass all the way until the last notes of Down In The City with just the one slow down during One Way Ticket. These VH1 shows about Metal and such where they say that G'n'R came along and kicked all the glam bands asses and help change the rock scene, well I think if LA Guns would have got the same push that the same things would be said about their debut as well.Just my opinion.
  4. Went with Y&T,even though Def Lep and Crue are two of my top three favorite bands.I just felt like the Contagious album overall was stronger than the others.Even though there are individual songs I like better on the others(Women,You're All I Need,to name two).
  5. Yeah where is Moon Dog Mane?I went with 38 Special.
  6. I live in the US and I would not have even bid on the CD with shipping of 4.99.I checked that sellers auctions and every Cd had a shipping charge of either 4.50 or 4.99 in the US.I don't even charge that much for shipping outside the US!I sent a CD out today to Spain and it was 4.20,shipped in a bubble mailer. That price used to be 4.00 to Europe, before the rate increases.
  7. Reason To Live wasn't a very good song but I like the video, the blonde in it is HOT,especially the scenes where she is dancing around in the bathroom with a towel on or should I say barely on!!
  8. Went with Revenge as well.Just better songs all the way through without much filler.I like certain songs on the other CD's better(Heaven's On Fire,Uh All Night,All Hell's Breakin Loose)but overall album,Revenge is better. With Asylum running a close second.
  9. Got the Dual disc version of Bo's CD and the three songs on the dvd side that weren't on the album side are actually better than most of the stuff that made the cut.My favorite track though is probably You're Everything, the one written by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback,it kind of has a Nickelback feel to it,although a little lighter.
  10. High N Dry definitely. It's still my favorite Def Lep album, and one of my top five favorites of all time.
  11. What gives this guy away is he is selling a Keel-s/t,Final Frontier,Badlands-s/t,Spread Eagle-s/t,and PAntera-Power Metal cd every other day. There is no way he has enough of those originals to sell 3 to 4 a week.He also has the indie Dixie Chicks CDs from the early 90's that are rare, and rare Chris LeDoux CD's from the 80's,and it's the same way,he is selling them every other day!
  12. Tesla is the best band in the world(imo). Why I think that? The first time I ever heard them I was watching MTV when they played Modern Day Cowboy for the very first time, and it blew me away. They came out in a time when everyone was into the makeup, big hair with tons of aquanet, flashy clothes(nothing wrong with all that,I kind of miss it in todays bands!)and they were none of that(even though in the beginning they used a little hairspray). They were the first band I seen live when they opened for Def Lep on the Hysteria tour, they came out and just rocked,no big light show,no pyro, just loud rock and roll.(Of course I enjoyed Def Lep's big stage production as well,it works for them)They were also the first big time rock band I ever met in person. They would fit in,in any decade or generation of music. They are what straight up rock and roll is all about. Before anyone argues with me,this is just my opinion.
  13. Here are the emails he sent me on both occasions he bid on my stuff, giving his excuses for not paying: hello.......due to unforseen financial circumstances......vehicular repair in nature, I will not be able to pay for the cd(s) I won from you until July 15 or 22.....please let me know if this will work for you or not...if not, then you may as well relist it,as it's the best I am able to do at this time.... 14. It has been NLARU'd,it was musicfan045.You know I got to thinking after my last post about someone that bought a couple of CD's off me a month and half or so ago,he emailed me and said he was strapped for cash but he really wanted the CD's and he would pay me at the end of the month if I could hold them,me being the nice guy I am I said yes I would, thinking I wouldn't get paid, but sure enough he paid me at the end of the month through Paypal.Anyways I went back and checked my records and it was the same guy!His ID at the time was hrdrckrma.Good thing I use Delivery Confirmation or he would have filed for a refund with PP and got his money and the CD's.
  15. I got hit by the guy as well.I just now realized it as I was reading this thread. He got the highest bid on my Hurricane Over The Edge CD last week($26.00)and he emailed a few days after the auction and said almost the same thing someone else posted about having car trouble, can't pay until around the middle of July, etc. What kind of kick does this guy get off of bidding on stuff then not paying for it?
