Haven't posted here in a while, but had some good finds at a local CD shop yesterday that was probably one of my best days. I found: Dire Straits - S/T TARGET design Dire Straits - Communique TARGET design Def Leppard - Pyromania West Germany Orange Spirals I've never found anything exceptionally rare at this store before, so I was very excited to see these!

It's a shame you disappeared. I was in Portland a couple weeks ago. We probably could have met up otherwise. It's a strange city you live in.

Russian CDs
infinity1971 replied to Metal_Warrior's topic in Good and Bad Traders, Buyers, and Sellers
I won House of Lords - World Upside Down from Selling on Adrenalin awhile back. Was a russian release. Oh, well, I bought it for a friend. The only thing I really didn't like was that it took almost a whole month to get it. So, it came after Christmas...urgh.... -
I despise Velvet Revolver. They are an obomination.

Damn. I knew his name looked familiar. Well, count me as one of the suckers who paid for a cd from him. I paid $30 for Smashed Gladys - Social Intercourse over a month ago. His seller name this time was Glamourbubble. Here's his complete address: Thomas Kerlyn 1331 Beacon Drive Port Charlotte, Florida 33952 I complained to Paypal about him and won the complaint. Unfortunetly, he only had $5 left in his account, so that was all Paypal was able to refund me. What a crock of shit. I thought if you paid for buyer protection, you were supposed to be refunded the whole amount.

As with most of you, it came down to D2 and Skid Row. If it had been the second D2 album, I would have chosen that one in a heartbeat. But, had to go with Sebastian, as I think I like that one just a bit more....

Wow. I had GNR picked, and then noticed Motley Crue, and then noticed DL. I had to go with DL, as Hysteria is still one of my all time fav's.....

Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about it? I've never seen the original but will make sure I do now. I must admit I hate special effects and all that sort of fancy crap in movies generally (sorry Mr Davesworld)- especially futuristic or space movies... but I love when special effects are put to good use in stuff like Jurassic Park and I loved what they did with King Kong too. Everything looked awesome and authentic and I loved every second of it. But yeah, that's just me. The others I saw it with loved it too, and there were some buffs there. Interested to hear what you d

Watched King Kong a couple days ago....I was disappointed. I liked the '79 version better....
