  1. LOVE that album! Redrum~ Victims of Our Circumstances
  2. Both disappointing, but for the quality of the songs, De La Cruz is by far the better of the two, imo. Both disappointing? That's disappointing to hear. I think they are both great, both are fun albums. Santa Cruz is easily the better of the two though IMO.
  3. Hmm very interesting. They are gonna fuck around and release an album instead of ep
  4. I have a copy from Don himself. He sold out of it on his acoustic tour opening for Queensryche. I want to say that he only had 500 made. It's very mellow but it sounds great.
  5. Happy Birthday Jezmeiester!!!
  6. Great tune on a great album!!! Legions of Love~ De La Cruz
  7. Yep my fav off the new album and actually made my top 10 when I narrowed it down. It's a toss up between California and Anarchy for me as the best track on the new cd. Excellent disc all around and a real grower!!!
  8. Love the tune California by Crashdiet. Killer tune!
  9. I saw that tour as well and yeah, Slaughter were indeed god-awful. I find Mark Slaughter's voice nasal and irritating as hell on record, but live it took on a whole new dimension of torture. Still 'n' all, my "worst" live band would have to be the Cult opening for Metallica in 1989 -- Ian was trashed, stumbling around the stage, mumbling into the mic before he finally gave up and laid down on the drum riser while the rest of the band played around him. I found out later that by that point in the tour the Cult were so sick of being heckled by the Metallica crowds that they had simply stopped trying...but it pissed me off cuz I was there hoping to see killer sets by BOTH bands. I still love The Cult on record but they've never gotten another nickel outta me for a live show. I agree with The Cult opening for Metallica. I saw them on that tour too. Bulletboys opened and were pretty good. But Ian was hammered and couldn't sing. I did see them later that year as the headliner, with Bonham opening. They were awesome!!! Great concert to support Sonic Temple. They must have played for over two hours.
  10. These guys have a cool Def Leppard vibe to them.
  11. On the ride to work, Whiskey River by Sweet F.A.
  12. GREAT show!!!! One of the best I can remember for a long time!!! Crashdiet was so good.
  13. So my question is, why would he disband the band and then ROCK again??? Dumb.
  14. Tough call but went with Bark at the Moon. Wore the grooves out on my vinyl back in the day. Really like No More Tears too.
  15. Hell Yeah!!! I plan to be there. Cool, Darin, Jeff and myself so far for the MN show. Anyone else up for this? I may be up for this too. Evil Rick and I will be there with Jeff!
  16. Excellent release from the band!!! As Rick mentions, it's just good party rock
  17. This is the 2nd day in a row our schools are closed It's ridiculous ain't it? I booked this week off from work over a month ago cuz I figured by now we'd be done w/snow and I'd be able to get some shit done around my house & yard ... so much for that idea.. Last year on this date we set a new high of 73 degrees. Today, it's 6 degrees.
