  1. I myself think someone got a hold of these tracks, and took it upon themselves to name them Surrender, S/T of course. I have a feeling the real musicians and singer don't even know their material is being passed around, sold, and traded online. Their bandname was probably something else, or maybe they didn't even have a name. It's one thing to have an obscure release, where the CD is VERY rare and the bandmembers aren't able to be contacted, it's a whole other thing when there is no info on them, and nobody knows who they are, not one single person...?
  2. Yeah-I think Whiplash is on to something... I honestly think some lame HH person (more like someone who cruises it to find out what he'll get big $$ for) went and saw the rare pieces that Dale listed then used his pics, the info on this site, and then just took to Ebay to see what he'd get, and who will be dumb enough to give it to him... I don't think it's anyone who we know that well, such as Dale... Cuz who in the right minds would come up with that array of rare indies and say basically nothing about them, and make it seem like they just happen to come up on them while working at some recod shop?? YEAH RIGHT!! We all know how hard it is to track these bad boys down, and if someone were to list their whole collection, they'd be giving up a lifetime of searching with what he has listed, and they surely would've made it known and said more, as it seems like he has little or no knowledge of what he has listed... Now who in the world would be able to gather those CD's and not know what they have? Maybe one, even 2 is pushing it, let alone like 25 top rare/indie CD's at once...? PUH-LEEZE!! NOT A CHANCE IN HELL...
  3. Awesome Whiplash, I thought the same about broadwaysmusic myself. He had been responding to every question I had very quickly in combination with his superb feedback I just sent him cash myself (also because I really wanted to get some particular items back ASAP), but was starting to wonder since this discussion came about... He also said I could wait until his suspension got lifted, as he said Ebay stepped in and froze the account because someone was trying to high jack his account. I will post back here when I get my stuff as well.
  4. What I can say is that sometimes when people hide it does represent something fishy, and in my case it doesn't for the simple fact that I don't rip anyone off, never have never will. Also, multiple names comes in hand when watching items as I usually watch more than 30 items at a time... Neither here nor there really, but oh well... I guess the conclusion can be made that I too am just "Strange" myself, suits me fine. Also, I hate black kettles!
  5. Yeah Taki, I hear that... There's something a tad strange going on here, but I can't figure it out. Like I said before, anybody with any bad news should post it somewhere like here to catch them... I won something cheap, so I paid for it and we'll see how it goes...
  6. After some investigating on this issue I too found myself wondering about certain new mystery sellers hitting Ebay with great Rarities I had been seeing when snooping around a little... I was especially skeptical of this guy sspert.hotmail.com (Ebay name) as some of that stuff I know for a fact wasn't released on CD, and some real rare, yet his feedback was like 7 with some negatives, all of which had nothing to do with HR CD's like he was selling... Who knows? Also, I think this guy Broadwaysmusic is something to look into, but I think he's legit and a good seller, but all collectors keep in mind to beware, ask questions you know... Also, anybody with any news concerning scam artists post it so they cannot capitalize off unsuspecting buyers, as communication amongst us is the best thing we can do...
  7. Man, have had some time to crank the new (and some old) Rippers... Here they are: *Hard Knox "Psycho's R Us" (Like "Appetite" Era Guns, with crazy indie over-the-top Glam attitude, Awesome) *Voyeur S/T (Killer, like Hardline) *Hammer Lane S/T (Awesome) *Skid Row S/T (Classic to me) *Ratt "Invasion" (Again, Classic release) *De Leon S/T (Talk about Rare, Awesome) *Moriah "Mirror Man" (I remember when I first got this one, wasn't crazy about it, but it's one of those that grew on me terribly, now it's a fav of mine) Rock On!!! -TheRipper
  8. It's not that I can't take the heat, it's really because I think it's DUMB. You're obviously one of those people who takes things all personal when someone disagrees on your musical taste (like KidRock, which I still think sucks)... I never once said anything about you when cutting KidRock, but now you're crying that I started shit? Whatever. I have never took it personal when people dislike or rag on my bands, which is what you did over me saying KidRock sucks... Go ahead, tell me that Noize Toys, Leatherwolf or Jillson sucks if it'll make you feel better to have the last word...
  9. Glad to hear that Tim, I remember when you said you really didn't like Eli at all... Is some of the rest good too?
  10. Whatever Jason, I don't come here to play games (nor to think about my composition style/grammar), I come here for the music so this is the last of my replies concerning this... As far as "Have Fun Playing to Cocky" I really said "Playing, I mean Listening, to Cocky boy" as in I was really gonna say Playing with, but changed my mind to listening TO (not playing to) kind of as I went because I thought it was unappropriate for the site... Oh well, read into it however you like, but if you really aren't a "fan" of KidRock's why did you get all hurt and call me a name cuz I cut him down??? Anyway, back to the subject... HERE'S WHAT I'VE BEEN CRANKIN LATELY: Bellicose "Love On Ice" (Killer) Amulance "Feel The Pain" Leatherwolf "Street Ready" Blaz-On "In Our Free Time" (AWESOME NEW FIND) Sraightway "Black Or White" (Exactly like Stryper, Great Surprise) Motley "Shout"
  11. Hey Jason (FA-Q) or more like FA-Q Jason... ITZ REALLY lame too tri and disk-credit me for my speling and grahammer, as I wasn't riting an ESZAY S2pid ASS! Cuz if I were I'd blow you away at it and critical writing isn't even my strong point, it was just a quick response to another blind ass KidRock fan who buys into his sorry image and lack of talent... Have phun Playing, I mean Listening, to Cocky boy!!! It just got a little clearer to me why you'd like him Jason!!!
  12. But is when you are a lame ass Rap/Rocker/Country singin dumb ass twerp!
  13. Here's what I've found to my liking as of lately: Sgt Roxx "Push & Squeeze" (1990) Theatre "Sexy Lady" (1990) Topaz "World Of Secrets" (1990) Intuition "Turn It On" (1994) Portrait S/T (1990) Whitecross S/T (1987)
  14. I agree, this new band sounds good. Very In-You-Face type of sound! If only more bands could do it this well.....
  15. Okay, I can admit that Bon Jovi is a sellout... But since you say you're not the HUGEST Pearl Jam fan or anything lik that, then yo won't mind me supporting the fact that Pearl Jam is indeed a "Sellout" too... Okay Mr. Vedder, the guy who when they first broke onto the scene, was all happy and having that "I'm just thankful to make music" attitude... Then when Nirvana seems to get into their own and be the real star of the grunge movement (which they were, and probably the best of all the copycats) Eddie goes and gets weird and tries to be portray exactly what Nirvana was doing... It was like he was trying to beat Curt Cobain to the punch, when Curt was really just being Curt, not acting like Eddie. As far as I'm concerned Pearl Jam is one of those bands that are past their Hey Day, much like say Skid Row in 1993/94 (or even Warrant for that matter), but he (Eddie) and the band seem to be one of thoe bands that are in great denial, just bow out guys... ALSO, something else they did for a desperate attempt to push records (Sellout), in which no other band has done quite like them, is they put out like 50+ live D's out at once, of like consecutive dates on tours... PLEASE guys, give me a break, call it a day!!! I guess their fans (of what's left of them) need their pockets cleaned out if thy wanna hear all 50 live versions of "Jeremy" or "Even Flow", if that's not sellingout I don't know what is... Yeah, if you don't believe me, go to Ebay and type in Pearl Jam live, then type in Beatles live, and what you'll see is that Pearl Jam has more listings than one of the most prolific/influential groups of Rock's history. Okay, the Beatles have way more songs/hits, and their among the most recognizable amongst everybody across the globe, no matter where you are, not to mention they've been around for 40+ years, but NO here comes Pearl Jam, with their career being about a fourth as long, and you'd be lucky to have a random person in say a sports stadium identify one of their so called hits if it were played, BUT THEY HAVE MORE LIVE RECORDINGS!!! Just Vanity and denial on the part of Mr. Mohawk (you seen this guy lately?), SELLOUT!!! I hate to be so harsh, but those guys like Vedder and whoever else, were like rubbing it into the Hard Rock/Metal World when Grunge had it's day thinking their day would never come... Now their just like POISON, SKID ROW, WARRANT of 1994, trying to find a little different sound, failing, getting new bandmembers etc... They're over, now I can laugh in their face, just like they did. HAHAHAHA!!!!! Oh, and I blame them for the sorry state music's in right now (although there are good new groups, it's all underground, they deserve their pay/chance too, afterall their more talented, but today's music biz doesn't necessarily require you to know music or know how to sing), as they succeeded in making people believe glam fags were all image and no talent, all the while rap and R&B stayed more or less the same (I don't know if it could really change personally). And now all you see is Rap on MTV or hybrid Rap/Rock/Punk groups as no one wants to esablish a style, because that's not cool!!! To me, if there's a million different musical styles (Grunge, Rap/Rock, FunkRock, Punk, Ska, Alternative, PostGrunge, ShockRock, etc... The list goes on) it makes none of them all that important, which is why Rap is here to stay as it's been more or less the same for almost 20 years, and will probably never change all that much.....
  16. I agree with metalmaniac777, I'd personally like to assassinate the whole Pearl Jam band, can't stand those fuckers! I like old Bon Jovi, but I'm not really digging their new stuff (almost all pop, even considering the term "Pop-Metal"), that's just me, but I'd still rather listen to any Bon Jovi than Pearl Jam by a long shot...
  17. Anamal, I thought Rattlesnake Shake didn't put out a CD on Monster??? Is yours a copy???
  18. Unknown "Big Dreams" Leatherwolf "Street Ready" KNAC's "10 Best From The West" (From 1987, Awesome Comp) Lillian Axe "Love And War" Landslide "Talk About It" Oh, and Taz's "Cold Shoulder" has been in too, very sleazy...
