  1. Pretty good song, this one. It's about what I expected. I really think it's somewhat better than anything else on In At The Deep End but I won't buy the album again just for this new song. Maybe add it to my YouTube Music playlist. C.H.
  2. I bought the album today on mp3million, it still is not on Youtube or anywhere else I could find. I am in the USA and would have a tough time buying the album direct from the band with British currency, would not even know where to begin. It is a very solid record, there are a couple of slower tempo songs but really not a bad song on it. Straight up hard rock that is really well written. The album sounds great, is recorded very well and the production is perfect. I bought it without hearing it except for the low quality 30 second samples on mp3million. Already listened to it 2 or 3 times just today. Great album, this one. C.H.
  3. I agree too, it's a very good record. I thought there are one or two songs here that would be better if he sang in a lower register but altogether the songs and musicianship here are really good. I'll Be Around is my favorite so far. C.H.
  4. I had high hopes for this record. I really did. After giving it a good listen I agree it is bland and very boring. Fugitive is a fairly good song but that's about it. Don deserves the credit for trying but this record is just a dud. C.H.
  5. Here is the rest of the album. I like this one much better than Perspective. Mostly rockers on it, but Pat does a great job on the slower song at the end, As Time Goes On. This is one of the much better albums I have heard in the last couple of years. There really is not a bad song on the record, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Around The Sound.
  6. New single, Close My Eyes. I like this one the best of the three they have released from the new record.
  7. Lyric video here. The audio is cleaned up a lot in it too. The guitar solo is still too quiet but the song overall sounds much better than the first video. The vocals are a lot louder and much cleaner. Very good song, this one.
  8. Sounds like they might be trying for a harder sound than their last album. There is no mention yet of an album or release date on their website or FB. This one also sounds like their bass player engineered it and/or they did not work with a professional producer. Decent song here but I am still not quite sure what to make of it just yet.
  9. This is a killer tune. Great chorus. I have a feeling the rest of the album will be all killer as well. Of all the bands trying to bring back the 80's hard rock feel good party vibe, MC definitely does it the best. C.H.
  10. This is one of the best albums I have heard in a very long time. There is not a bad song on it. Definitely worth the wait. Now I am just waiting for the CD release. C.H.
  11. The song is just ok. I will give the rest of the record a shot but the single sounds way too symphonic for me. I agree with the others, this is not Revolution Saints. It should have some other name or be a Deen solo release. I don't care for the engineering on this song either, it sounds muddy to me. C.H.
  12. Gimme A Kiss is the best song on this record, but that is not saying much. The rest of it is not what I wanted and not what I expected from Def Leppard, especially given their last new record was released seven years ago. I won't say the record is terrible, but it is just not for me. I could not even get halfway through some of the songs on it. Maybe it would have turned out better if the band could have written and recorded it all together as a group at the same studio rather than individually making contributions and mixing those together because of covid. C.H.
  13. It's a great song, just seems like the recording is over-saturated/recorded too loud. I had to drop almost every band in my equalizer to clean it up to where I could actually hear it. Looking forward to the rest of the record and hoping no ADV is in it. C.H.
  14. Sounds much better than Kick and it is better than anything I have heard from Def Lep in a very long time, since Adrenalize at least. I hope the rest of the record has some rockers like this in it. C.H.
  15. New single, the only original song on the album. I think it's pretty good.
  16. It's about what I expected it would be. It's ok, it's not terrible but I can't say I like it much. I don't care for the T. Rex/Slade/Mott The Hoople influence. Maybe the rest of the record might have a rocker or two on it. C.H.
  17. It's very good. I like the vocals on the chorus. Good guitar solo as well but it could be a bit louder. Solid tune other than that. C.H.
  18. It's hard to listen to this. Even harder to watch it. I didn't get halfway through the video. Pass. C.H.
  19. Who engineered this album? I find it hard to believe anyone could make Lars sound this bad. The rest of the band does not sound good either. I could not make it through the entire album but what I did hear sounds terrible. I think Lars is great, one of the best singers around right now but he needs to find a group that will let him sing. I have always thought that Lionville is not the right band for Lars. Is this his first time working with ADV? That guy can kill anything that sounds good. This album is a hard pass for me. C.H.
  20. It is a great song, seems to be in the same vein as the songs on the debut album. Makes me wonder if they wrote this one back then but the song did not get on the album for some reason. Some of the lyrics really seem similar to Ghosts Of My Old Friends. Miles plays a great solo but it is short and sweet like on a lot of the first album. I hope the other new song they release is as good as this one. C.H.
  21. Singer looks like Kid Rock and sounds like Vince Neil from the early days. Song is not bad. The band is from Pensacola, Florida.
  22. I have tried Spotify twice but can't really get into it. I agree their algorithm is not that great, they seem to "suggest" the same old stuff over and over. I also don't see any logic in paying $11.00 a month to listen to songs or albums I already own. And I own somewhere between 700 and 750 albums. Also Spotify's function for playing local files needs a lot of work, as does their playlisting. I made playlists and no matter what I tried could never get the bands listed in alphabetical order. I think it is very strange that Spotify costs as much as it does yet it has no native equalizer or tone controls. When I used Spotify I had to play it in their web player and run it through an equalizer app in Chrome to get decent sound out of it. I recently went back to Itunes to play my mp3 library and preview songs I may run across here or other music sites or on Youtube. Media Monkey has a good clean sound for local files too, I use it more than Itunes. I also use mp3million to preview and buy music I like. I just don't see the need for Spotify when there are other free options available to hear the same song. I keep a $5.00 subscription for Pandora and Iheart to listen to when I am at work or in my car, or else I have a flash drive or Samsung Music on my phone to play some albums in the car. The only real advantage I ever saw with Spotify was they were always first to have new albums available when they got released. C.H.
  23. From the Midnite City Facebook page today.. "*NEW VIDEO THIS FRIDAY* 'Rock And A Hard Place' officially hits your screens in 4 days time! This is one of the two BRAND NEW songs we recorded especially for the 2022 CD reissues of our self titled 2017 debut and 2018's 'There Goes The Neighbourhood'. Both CD's will be available to buy on our upcoming tour and direct from the band after the tour ends." I hope both are absolute killers. C.H.
  24. It's not for me either but I liked the first song. Fire In the Sky, not really. I previewed the album on MP3million. Going by these two videos I was hoping the album would be better than it is. Her voice and singing style reminds me so much of Lita Ford it's scary. Guitar solo sounds a bit like Pete Willis. C.H.
  25. I just heard it on Spotify, it's good. It's not really Giant without Dann but it is a pretty good record. I heard a little of the original Giant sound here and there. Kent does a good job with this. C.H.
