Saw these guys live a month and a half ago, put on an excellent show and closed the night with a cover of Jane by Jefferson Starship which that nailed! Drummer Anthony was also previously in Cold Sweat

RockFavs YouTube channel. (Obscure 80's demos).

Hey Delbert, I discovered your channel around mid-July of this year and at the time I had so many questions; who is RockFavs, how did someone post seemingly hundreds of videos in two or three days, where have all these high quality demos come from, etc. I'm glad you came around to answer some of my questions! One more though, some of the songs have what look to be custom CD artwork and I was wondering if you put in the time to make them yourself. In any case, I can't thank you enough for sharing your collection. I've been collecting a lot of old Hollywood newspapers like Rock City News for archival purposes because they cover a time that isn't incredibly well documented. To be able to read about an unknown band or see their ads and then turn around and find one of their songs on your YouTube channel and put a sound to the name has been absolutely amazing. I also greatly appreciate you including pictures with the track lists in your videos, knowing that all of those songs could potentially be out there and digitized is an excellent feeling from a preservation perspective. I hate to get all corny over this but it really means a lot. Thanks a lot Del, and keep on rockin'! -

I've been following this channel since July (didn't even think to post it here). They've got a ton of stuff that you can't find anywhere else, especially from Hollywood. I highly recommend searching for bands on the channel, they just might have something. Here are some of my favorite discoveries: I can also recommend that Iceman album, haven't listened to Vanitas though -
Been a long while since I've posted here, but I never stopped adding to my collection! Here's some of the highlights from the last few months: Mr. Big - S/T 2023 Remaster The Zeros - 4-3-2-1... The Zeros Bang Tango - Live Injection Guns N' Roses - UYI 1, The Spaghetti Incident, Chinese Democracy (Completed their studio album discography!) Skin - S/T Bakers Pink - S/T Aerosmith - Pump Electrik - Love Buzz Harmony Trixter - S/T Scorpions - Crazy World Electric Love Hogs - S/T Poison - Native Tongue

Eh, Shattered Glass is ok, the intro feels very amateurish to me and something about the bass drum beat in the verse feels off and sloppy

One of the rarest discs I own is probably a self-titled EP by the band Lunatic Fringe, same band from that Metal Blade Street Survivor's compilation. Had no idea it existed and I don't know how many copies exist, but it wasn't on Discogs until I created a release for it. As I was typing that I was reminded of a similar situation I had with an album by the band Dog's Life from Rochester, NY. Took me almost a year but I finally tracked down a CD about a week ago!

Albums you never really gave a chance

For whatever reason I basically never listen to White Lion. I don't exactly know why, I usually like the individual songs I hear but when it comes to full albums I'm just rarely in the mood -
The question still remains however, how is Gina's Penis?
-
Bonham - The Disregard For Timekeeping The Quireboys - A Bit Of What You Fancy Tesla - Five Man Acoustical Jam Saigon Kick - The Lizard Spin Doctors - Pocket Full Of Kryptonite

What are your thoughts on this one if you've listened to it? It seems every time I go to order something from Eonian I add it to my cart but then end up replacing it with something else before pulling the trigger. For whatever reason I always feel like I won't like it as much I think I will, though the title track is killer so chances are I'll get around to purchasing it eventually just for that song if nothing else

Just one, Blue Blud - The Big Noise I guess I also recently discovered Railjack Union, don't have anything from them though

SunsetHoliday started following Late 80's DEMO's any info would help

Some Black Friday purchases from DDR just rolled in: Alleycat Scratch - Greatest Licks and Nasty Tricks Hung Jury - Screaming In Blue Syre - It Ain't Pretty Being Easy Wild Boyz - Unleashed! And with any luck, I'll have a copy of Blue Blud - The Big Noise arriving sometime before Christmas!

Here's hoping, he had so many excellent songs and I'm sure he had even more in the vault. I would love for him to have a proper release as a tribute to his songwriting talents

They don't make songs like this anymore....
