I really like this album - not every song on it but there are some surprisingly catchy melodies all over. Personally I think the singer adds great energy to the mix. It reminds me of the earlier Bai Bang ("closer to you")

I really liked their debut. Last album was okay musicwise but the new singer sounded as if he had never listened to rock music before. This new album has a few good songs but also too many uninteresting hooks. There are moments where I think, the vocalist sounds much better than on the last album and then there are moments as in "Sold your soul" (if I remember correctly) where he's completely out of time in the first verse and just doesn't sound cool. On top of that he can't say "th". That makes me kinda nervous

The drummer doesn't want to commit to the image? Seems odd to be the only one.
The song is about the band's early days and they're wearing wigs looking like their hair back then. The drummer is the only one who wasn't there from the start so they just made him look a bit younger (with the cap).
I really like the band and the song and I think this is one of the best bands Germany has to offer. Though their songs are never surprising.

Great album, sounding more and more like Dynazty, but I'm not one to complain about that at all.
I think it's the other way around.
Still it's a very hooky album. I often thought a song doesn't necessarily have to end at 3:00 minutes. The endings are too abrupt sometimes.

Last summer we won a slot as the opening act for a well known german Schlager-singer. Yesterday we released a reworked song from our debut album "The Hungry Kind" together with a video from that concert. It was an unforgettable experience and considering that the audience was not there for rock music, it worked out quite well.
We are always thankful for feedback

Hi all!
For quite a while I'm searching for an album. I sadly forgot the bandname and the album title. I think it was released 2 or 3 years ago (?) The genre was Melodic Hard Rock and I think the cover was pink with a beach theming or somehow I connected them with a beach... I couldn't find them in the Frontiers records catalogue (it was not Cruzh's Tropical Thunder). I know that there was a thread about them here but as I don't remember their name, I cannot find anything.
I know it's not a lot information but does anybody have an idea?

I really don't like the singer. He is lacking some coolness. It sometimes sounds forced/too high for him, in one of the previews he was absolutely out of time. His english pronounciation doesn't sound great (I'm not a native speaker myself but I can't stand a d-sound instead of a th)
Their sound and songwriting is pretty good. Loved the first album.

Anyway, new album seems a bit more eclectic than usual? There is some real absolute garbage on here, like 'Around The World In A Day' and 'Come And Get It!' No one should ever have to hear songs like that, under any circumstances. 'I Belong To You' is a very bad closer too
I love "around the world in a day". I think it's a surprising idea to have 3 different choruses in one song. "Come and get it" seems to be the weakest song in my opinion. Especially because the vocals aren't always in time (that was a huge problem on the last album. This time I could hear it in only a few songs). "I belong to you" is another song that I love. It's just a very plain good mood song but with nice melodies and choirs. I like that they always have songs that are very different from the usual AOR stuff. The first three songs are very good also.
This album, to me, is better than their last one. Zenith is still my favourite.
I don't think they ever play live. I ansolutely don't understand their strategy.

This is lacking some power and depth. For example some choirs in the chorus would add some width.
-
Is this the worst location for a video like that they could get? Looks like the drummer's living room. Music sounds pretty cheap in my opinion.
-
They don't even have a facebook account. I think they could be bigger than they are. I usually really their music and the singer is great. Looking forward to it.

Today we self-released the full album digitally. There are some things that we still have to learn production wise but overall we are very happy. As always - we really would appreciate a short feedback

"Tomorrow Never Comes" is an emotional rock ballad with very personal lyrics and a key change.
In May we'll release the full album "The Hungry Kind" digitally.
We are really looking forward to reading your feedback

Hi everybody,
I'm not sure if I am allowed to post that here. This is my own band (I'm the singer) and we just released our first single and music video today. It fits into this genre (Hard Rock), so I thought, I'd really like to show that to you.
If you like, please tell us what you think
Next single comes in a few weeks and the whole album hopefully in April.

The intro of the studio version is too long in my opinion. Verses are quite weak.
What do you think?
-
Yeah, that's not good

There are samples on Itunes and I'm a little bit shocked. Tons of autotune, just doesn't sound very professional. "All alone" and "it's enough" sound like they are on the same level as their last 3 albums. The other songs sound quite weak to my ears. Curious about your opinions.
-
I think United had catchier songs.
-
The songs itself are not bad, still there are no hits such as 'in my dreams', 'hard to be a rock'n'roller' or 'do ya wanna taste it'.
The problem I have is the production. It's really loud, especially the guitars but when I'm driving I can't make out melodies or riffs, I only hear noise. It's s pretty strenuous sound.
-
Don't understand that. Dennis Ward is a great songwriter. Why is ADV involved at all?
-
I really like their music but the singer can't sing (not even with autotune) and the lyrics are awful - that's why after 'rock it' and 'rock on' we now get 'rock me'.

I like that song (Forevermore) very much actually, reminds me of Freedom Call.
Yeah, really like it too. But what happened to Freedom Call? No new music in a very long time.

Sad to hear, I really liked his voice in this genre. Elvenking is not really my cup of tea.
