"Freedom" and its follow-up, "Powerhouse," were a perfect one-two punch from these guys. Shame they couldn't keep that kind of consistency going ("Tales of Wonder" and "Highlands" are both good albums, but pale in comparison to what came before).
I think they're all good

Whiteheart get a little metallic on the opening track to their AOR masterpiece album Freedom from 1989.

Hard rock from 1993. This band used to be just called "Legend" but then changed their name to "Legend Seven" for their second album. I don't know why.
I LOVE the song first love

Oh lol. It was the right song at some point but changed between pages without me even noticing, lol.
Were they really considered a "rock" band? I didn't know they were christian freaks either. Didn't they do the theme song to Dawson's Creek or something? Not that you'd have any idea what that (awesome) show was.
Ha this is ancient but I have seen some of Dawson's Creek and it started out fine, but later on I stopped cause it became trash

The song is about the church. Being a family to all. Comforting people, being the mother they need. The other believers are sisters and brothers, etc.
I know it's years late but just in case you never discovered the meaning on your own.
Thanks! I had forgotten about it for awhile, but good to find the meaning!

Barren Cross were Christian metal's answer to Iron Maiden. Oddly enough, while I never cared much for Iron Maiden, I've always liked B.C.
I love Somewhere Far Away
The only way to listen to it is if you skip to a certain amount into the album posted on YT or if you're on https://www.christianclassicrock.net/ -

I think the only one that makes me reach for the Skip button is "Cultic Regimes."
Same cause it always startled me when I would shuffle my playlist 😂😂😂

I thought I'd just check in on this thread to see what you cute little christian folk are up to and the first thing I see is sheer blasphemy. Yuck.

Skillet is arguably one of the best--if not THE best--Christian modern rock bands on the scene today (though personally I prefer Disciple, despite their lack of mainstream success).
Imo Disciple is awful…

Mad at the World started out as a synthpop band and then became hard rock. This song from their 1991 album Boomerang.
I really like That Lonesome Road

Ken Tamplin (of Shout and Magadallan) with his first solo album. Basically picks up where Shout left off in 1990.
Like the hair, like the style of shirt, and I've wanted to know who that guitarist was for awhile now!!
