I'm Too Old For This Sh*t (1080p) FULL MOVIE - Documentary
martinsane posted a topic in Music Videos
This looks pretty good and right up all of our alley's. Back in 1983, Tampa, Florida’s SIREN was set to take over the world of heavy metal. But when a string of bad luck, shady business deals & inner politics led to the band’s demise, the members gave up their dreams of being rock stars and embraced lives in the real world. However unbeknownst to them, over the ensuing decades SIREN amasses a sizable fan base overseas. And 35 years after their breakup, an obsessed fan tracks them down and offers them a slot at the Keep It True Festival...one of Germany’s biggest annual heavy metal gatherings. After much soul searching SIREN put aside their animosity to reunite the band and embrace their last chance to make their rock n roll dreams come true! It isn’t easy being a 50 something part time musician trying to navigate the airports, highways, social media and stages of the modern day. But with lessons learned, friendships rekindled and dreams reborn, SIREN becomes young again as they experience this heavy metal fairy tale for the ages!- 10 replies

https://www.knac.com/article.asp?ArticleID=43456 I did enjoy this one. Wish Dan would buy me the box set...

The songs posted are nice, very Trixter, HOWEVER that album cover, good grief, the shit that comes out of my ears is more appealing. Why just why would you release your wares after 30 years and go "ya that cover is tight"??? WTF?

Listening to the stripped down "new" version, in my opinion it just sounds like the original, but 40 years, a few thousand miles and a couple hundred pounds later. Old men trying to do what they once did effortlessly, but now having to really work at it. Sure it doesn't touch the original and its 48 track over saturated epicness. What does Kim sound like these days?

That's a great tangent and 1 where I would enjoy a disc 2 from New American Shame, Sea Hags, Salty Dog (yea yea yea, not that release from a few years ago with the different singer, but the OG SD) to name a few more mainstream bands. There are hundreds of no one cares bands that I'd love to get more music from.

There are a number that I dislike that seem to tickle many' noodles. Blackboard Jungle, and Vain to name 2 that just stink and still do. Now I fold other bands into the category of this album was alright, but now if I hear them again I will just cry. IE: anything from Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, The Police, and I am sure many more.

Yep, SP and dad jokes are synonymous. "Would I, splinters would be flying:...

You are on point, as I believe the Cobra does that sway in front of your face hypnotizing you or a Cobra Spell. Who knows though maybe Sonia is the Cobra and she puts a spell on the band members to do her bidding???

Yea that song does zero for me, shame to hear and see all the drama swirling around this group as there was no denying they have some skills. Oh well. Did they not just get a deal with Frontiers or some such ruiner of the genre?

https://blacksteam.se/index.html https://www.facebook.com/blacksteamsweden Some real nice Scandi (Swedish) hard rock. A little heavy and some Accept vibes. I like it, but you won't. Come To My Darkness released 11-25-22.

Well this is real nice for what it is, simple thrash with some punk overtones. Nice and heavy and chuggy, with a simple yet effective delivery. I like it and its sure nice seeing the youngsters going old school. https://linktr.ee/officialseptik @All Nights Reserved @Dead Planet

When I posted it was $40 flat at NB, must have crept up or I was cockeyed when I saw it.

The limited edition box set at $40 is a steal as well.

So another band in the endless series of really good bands I share with the world (that no one gives a shit about) dropped an album in 2020 entitled "Born in the 70's". Of course it went over like a fart in church, but kudos to the leather ones for re-issuing the album right f'ing now with some new songs and a pretty nifty packaging for you vinyl lovers. They cleverly titled the re-iss 'reborn in the 70's. Here is a new song for the re-iss: And here is the re-iss in all its glory. Do yourself a solid and treat yourself to this. http://www.leatherboys.es/#
