  1. Trying to figure out when this is going to be released - I know it says Oct 28, but that is a Saturday and who releases music on a Saturday? Its not out yet
  2. One of my favorite bands ever is Erotic Suicide - always been frustrated that they disappeared off of the face of the planet. And then I found this... https://www.facebook.com/ES3band Looks like the promise of some unreleased material that never came out, but 10 years later and it is still not out. Does anybody know anything about these unreleased tracks and how to get a hold of them? I tried reaching out to the person on Facebook, but no response.. Would be hugely grateful for any leads on this - the Jack and Coke song is KILLER
  3. Some great suggestions in here .. Bands I know and love (Lipz, Speed Stroke, Cruel Intentions) Bands I know but never really gave a shot (Sister, Murderdolls, Candy Harlots) Bands I can’t find anywhere (Snow, Sister Scream, Pyn Siren) Please keep them coming!
  4. Why stop? These are some great suggestions I love Lipz, Speed Stroke, and Cruel Intentions There are others here on my playlist that I need to revisit I remember Sea Hags as not being as hard edged as the others , but maybe it’s time to give them another listen Thanks got the suggestions! This is one of my favorite covers of all time - it’s a fun take on the original Dangerous
  5. Looking for some help here - Looking for new bands that fall in the harder edged sleaze category - things that would fall into the same category of Erotic Suicide, Crazy Lixx, Crashdiet, Slam Alley, old Hardcore Superstar, the first Spread Eagle CD , and I'd even toss the first Faster Pussycat CD in there Erotic Suicide = Perseverance is the ultimate CD in my eyes - so the closer to that, the better! Internet searches just lead me to lists with things like Cinderella (not Sleeze), Alleycat Scratch (not hard). and more glammy type bands I'm afraid that I have been looking and listening for so long that there might be nothing new to discover! Please prove me wrong,.
  6. Great song, but this was my favorite from Shotgun Messiah ..
  7. I remember years later going to their website to see if they did anything else - at least what I thought their website was based on the CD cover "rockhardmusic.com" Lets just say I received quite the shock when the page loaded
  8. I saw her in NYC in 2016 - playing with Tempt and Station (I think,,) She did amazing covers of Barracuda and Heartbreaker An amazingly talented young lady, even more impressive live
  9. Ok.. I'll play A little known song by my favorite sleaze band of all time.. wonder what happened to these guys Erotic Suicide - What Did You Get Me
  10. I liked this CD a lot more than I thought I would.. probably the best release of the day (over WET and Wig Wam)
  11. I got all excited until I realized it wasn't Lionsheart with Steve Grimmett ..
  12. Love Hell in the Club (and so does my teenage son) That said, we both listened to "Nostalgia" and both though it was pretty mediocre Have listened to it a few more times and it is growing on me a little, but it is nowhere near the quality of songs they usually put out Like the first song much more..
  13. Not a fan of the vocals at all .. they are really flat.. The two songs are also way too similar sounding I love good sleaze, but this isn't good sleaze
  14. Listening to the Mike Machine release and the first song is called "Fight to Survive" Found that ironic because of what sounds like REALLY strong resemblance to a song by White Lion (which I will always think of for their song "Fight to Survive") Is it just me or do you all hear similarities between Mike Machine's Fight to Survive and White Lion's Broken Heart? It isn't identical, but definitely seems to be strongly influenced.. Thoughts? Mike Machine http://www.musictory.com/music/Mike+Machine/Fight+To+Survive White Lion White Lion - Broken Heart
  15. Went to college in Towson and remember seeing ads for them playing at Hammerjacks Never made it to Hammerjacks while I was in school - one of my great regrets
  16. Iced Earth covering Loverboy (there are amazing similarities between the two songs... not a "true" cover but..)
  17. Arrows Eugenia will be missed. Something about Fred doesn't quite click with me - it seems as if he has one or two really painful moments in each song - for example in Arrows (link above) , listen around 2:02 (or 3:10)
  18. Awesome to see them both. The mix was off for Station and it was hard to hear the singer at times There were two other bands, but we didn't stick around..
  19. Saw Tempt live last night and have to say - if you ever get the opportunity to see them, GO! Very very good live band - one of those rare bands that is on an entirely different level live Nice guys also..
  20. We talk a lot about all of this great music here that is going to be released? But I usually end up forgetting when the release dates roll around is there a good calendar of release dates online for AOR/Hard Rock/Sleaze? Have looked, but can’t find anything that is very complete
  21. I'm not feeling what I am hearing at all.. none of the energy of the Treat that I love. Safe and , dare I say, boring.
  22. Always was a fan of Great White - saw them play live countless times. Probably put on the best live shows of any band that I have ever seen (and I used to go to the Stone Pony in the late 80s/early 90s pretty regularly). If they could have captured that magic on a CD (and they released some great music - Hooked being one of them), they would have been one of the biggest bands in the world
  23. I took one look at them and immediately assumed it would be shit, but those tracks are pretty surpringly decent!
  24. If you don’t mind mp3, they eMusic has the deluxe version for $6.49 https://www.emusic.com/album/5289217/Electric-Boys/Starflight-United-Deluxe-Edition
  25. Not really sure how a list like this can be complete without Lizzy Borden (and Im not even sure the song below is the best example....) I see that you're all alone I've got the need to follow you home I'd like to be the shadow who stalks I'll lash out send your nerves into shock You turn and stare you feel someone there A psychopath could be anywhere You start to run but you won't go very far I'll always know where you are I couldn't even see your face Excitement builds as I start the chase You turn me on when your heart is pounding It's ecstasy when I hear you scream I flash a knife to your paralyzed eyes And only I will watch you die Psychopath - on the loose I know where you are at, got something for you Psychopath - I got a blade Cut you just like that, I wanna play Psychopath - out on the street Quiet as a cat, I'd love to meet you Psychopath - I'll have my way Give ya forty whacks, I wanna play
