  1. Does anyone have the Enigma version with the triangle logo(classic stryper) on the cd itself? When the cd came out in 1990 the first 10,000 shipped with this logo instead of the blue fingerprint/new logo scheme. It became the rarest Stryper cd until the Reborn programming error cd. My wife is possibly going to a wedding tomorrow where as the brother of the groom has that cd. I told him years ago if he wants to part with it I want first crack at it. I am going to mention to her to talk to him about it when the weddings over.
  2. Holy Soldier-Last Train Probably been 10 years since I listened to this all the way thru. What a great cd.
  3. Bride and Bloodgood. Its Sunday so why not listen to some christian hard rock. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads.
  4. My friends laughed at the bed frame when she moved in. It looks like you could grill a cow on it. Its all metal.
  5. I guess I am pretty lucky. My wife seems to be o.k. with my cd habit. I think if someone is responsible with their income (paying bills and saving for the future) no one should really be upset. Although if someone has multiple hobbies that drain the pocket book thats another story. I know people who will drop several grand on a part for their car. If I drop a few thousand dollars over the course of a year it shouldn't be a problem. Honestly I have only 2 hobbies. One costs me money the other doesn't. The latter just costs me a whole lot of time. One thing that can possibly help is storage. My wife would probably be really upset if I had kept my cds out all over the place (creating clutter). We have a damn tall bed. All my cds are in storage tubs and kept under the bed. Our bed can fit a couple of thousand cds if organized right. If you were to walk into my house you wouldn't even think I liked any kind of music at all. Food for thought.
  6. You can read some stuff without being logged on. I sometimes do if I just want to browse those topics that you can. It saves me time from logging in and out on the computer(mainly the one at work). I am sure some of the guests are members.
  7. Got the zune on shuffle. Currently Candy Harlots.
  8. Went to the pawnshops and used cd stores and picked these up. French Kiss-S/T Trash Brats-The Joke's On You Armed Forces-Take On The Nation Enuff Z'nuff-Strength Bang Tango-Dancin' On Coals Razzle-New Vibe Revolution Its been another good hunt.
  9. Pawnshop finds today: Kiss-Revenge Kidd Robin-Inevidable (now I have 3 of them) Dies Illa-Promises All for a whopping $5
  10. Good band. Downloaded their album from their website. It was free at the time, not sure if it is anymore. My kids have danced to the video a few times running it from Youtube on Xbox Live.
  11. I get 25pk from office depot for $9.99. They always have them in stock.
  12. They probably are releasing it in light of the movie "Rock Of Ages" coming out soon. I assume alot of ppl will jump on the 80's wagon when the movie hits. I wonder though if it will be "Grease" for this generation???
  13. Which animated series? The old school 90's one with Mark Hamill as the Joker? I liked the one called The Batman. It was out a few years ago and ran for 5 years. Got all the seasons on dvd. Although my favorite color scheme is all black from the Dark Knight Movies. Can't wait for the new one.
  14. Kidd Robin-Inevitable Return Of The Dinosaur Monster. Hit a pawnshop while waiting for my car to be looked at. A whopping $2.17. The charged me tax on two dollars.
  15. Eonian is definately one of the better labels. Top notch quality. Better than Retrospect by far. Shake City and Pistol Dawn being my faves. Love Shake City to death. Remember them being mentioned in Metal Edge in '89 with the Warrant connection and all.
  16. Had to get it recolored in 1997.
  17. Have a tattoo since I was 18 yrs old. Got it done on a bet. My best friend at the time got one also. To this day do not regret it.
  18. I loved Screw It. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. For me it has always been Angelica's Walkin' In Faith. I remember seeing the posters at the music store advertising Walkin In Faith's release. Absolutely loved the first one. Bought Walkin' on the day it came out. What a horrible disappointment. Much lighter in sound and electronic drums galore. One of the few cassettes that I never replaced with a cd version.
  19. I have only seen Lauren Smoken cd on Jump from France. Link from France could have been the distributor. But all the cds from her that I have seen have been Jump. Any one have it with pics?
  20. Bootleggers are human, they make mistakes. Funny, same logo 2 different countries. They should of covered their bases first. My Glory cds are on Victor. I only have the Japanese releases.
  21. There were several Link Records. Some from USA. The punk/ska only label was in the U.K. only. Have never seen them put out anything but, even after checking other databases. The rock candy cd was listed as from Link Records from the U.K. If people leave comments be specific. E.i. matrix numbers etc. There was a band called The Glory on Link Records U.K. but they played Oi music. Remember there was a distributor from France named Link as stated in my original post. Not the same company as the Rock Candy cd. Different countries and logos.
  22. I am sure I am not the only one who has seen the comments recently left on HH under Rock Candy Sucker For A Pretty Face cd. Out of all my years of collecting cd's can't for the life of me believe this Link Records issue to be legitimate. So I decided to create a poll to all the people out there. What are your thoughts and or facts also. Here are mine. 1. Link Records of England was in business from 1987 thru 1992. 2. Logo on Rock Candy cd does not match the real Link Records logo. Another Link Records in England? 3. Link Records did only,I mean only punk/ska type material. 4. Rock Candy cd link records 8701 first showed up on Discogs.com in there database in December of 2011. Then showed up in HH forums soon afterwards. 5. Just after the link records 8701 sucker for a pretty face cd shows up on Discogs.com database. A new member there shows up and has 1 for sale for $471 immediately afterwards. 6. All the link records cds that have been on Ebay and Discogs are from 1 geographical area in the world. 7. Gimme Gimme cd for Warp Drives was distributed by another comany called Link. They were from France and only a distribution company not a record label. Most importantly for all the music information and database websites and all the countless collectors who are a part of those not 1 person has come across this cd until December of 2011. I am sure some people will be upset for this poll. Some people have spent a lot of money for this one cd. At the same time someone or somebody's making good money on an cd that anyone can make for $65 including a good copy of the Sucker for a pretty face lp. Thats how I did mine. But I am not into bootlegs so I keep the Lp I have to make my copy legal and won't make copies for anyone.
  23. I heard Tebow might go to Jacksonville.
  24. I'm like Joe Dirt. "A rocker thru and thru". But to each his own. No problems liking other music styles. I respect that.
  25. Kix ,Helix, Keel in that order for me. Kix just had much more (quantity) of better songs. Blow My fuse is there best followed by Midnite Dynamite.
