  1. Went to school with twin sisters with the last name "Boner". Always got laughs from everyone during role call.
  2. Def Leppard-Hysteria for me. Although I am disappointed Pretty Maids-Future World and Bonfire-Fireworks were not on the list. I would have picked both these two albums before all others. Back in those days I listened to those tapes more than the others.
  3. The E.P. was great. Especially for free. Will definately pick this up when it comes out. Hope all the songs off the E.P. make it to the cd. I liked them all.
  4. Such a good band. Love both releases to death.
  5. I totally agree with 66 mustang. Every song on the S/T was good. Screw It had about 5 of their best songs ever on it but several really bad ones. If those bad ones were replaced with good songs then Screw It would hands down be their best ever.
  6. Sure Conviction-Get Ready
  7. I may have said this before, but I just don't 'get' Kix. They seem to be really highly rated on this site, but other than 'Hot Wire' and 'Tear Down the Walls', the songs don't really do much for me. Clearly I'm missing something! To each his own I guess. There are a few bands back in the day that I never liked. A lot of friends thought highly of them and I though they weren't good. I love Kix though. I have to agree with KarpetRydOfunk, Steve is a killer frontman. He has always been one of my favorites and way too underrated.
  8. When I played the song, it came up as artist "Tamer Lane". Theres a band by the name "Tamerlane". Not sure if its the same band. Musically they are different. Could have been an ealier incarnation of the band. Alice In Chains didn't start out grunge. In the late 80's they were a hair metal band. I had a friend who wore their t-shirt all the time back in early 89'.
  9. I agree with above. Although I own quite a lot of Helix, and "Wild In The Streets" is above the rest. Gotta love "She's Too Tough". Probably my favorite song on the cd. I know Joe Elliot wrote it and Def Leppard's version is better IMO.
  10. The Final Countdown-Europe
  11. Office Depot now sells a 25pk standard black for $8.99. Just cleared their shelf yesterday. I always like to keep them on hand.
  12. Will the European release be available to purchase from the Eonian website???
  13. Can't wait to here about the new bands that are to be released in the future. I hope one of them is Ana Black. They used to cross the border and play in town back in the day.
  14. Most Eonian releases get tandemed up with another. I wonder what could possibly be the second band if there even is one??? I definately will be getting this one though.
  15. Good cd, definately worth getting
  16. Watch a special on Duran Duran on Netflix last week. Very underrated musicians. I think they were well known for their videos and fashion as much as their music. I got to give them their props. THEY SURE CAN PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENTS VERY WELL.
  17. Well my wife talked to him yesterday. He still has the cd but will not part with it. Although he said he would let me have first stab at it if he ever does. Bummer.
  18. There are 3 Hastings in town. Used to be 4 until recent. They have a lot of used cds. Although I dont like being able to open the cds to look at the condition (I am pretty picky). When you turn in used cds they seal them up and put them out on their racks. The pricing in the stores are all messed up to. You can find a new cd marked $4.99 and the used counterpart for $6.99. Go figure. If you go into a store you could probably see why. Most of the employees are teenage or young adult age. I have unearthed a quite a few gems from them in the past. They used to not take cds without bar codes or if they didnt come up in their database. Now they do. So its a good place to find a rarity from time to time.
  19. Make sure its on Enigma label. Don't think Hollywood Record label put that out. Hollywood took over their discography in 1992 if I remember. Metal Edge had a little side note in 1990 when mentioning the Against the Law cd when it came out that the first 10,000 came with the original logo on the cd. Stryper claimed it was a mistake. Not sure of that. Anyways good luck, I hope it turns out to be that cd for you. Its a keeper. Like I have said before I have only seen 1 in my whole life and I have only met one collector who knew about it also. Everytime I go looking for used cds and come across an Against the Law cd I always check to see if it is the original logo cd. You never know what you come across. Thats how I got my To Hell With The Devil (Angel Cover) cd. I was at a cd store looking in there used section and there it was. It cost me $5. I quickly sold my Enigma black cover one on ebay.
  20. Actually let me clarify it a bit. The Engima logo (mountain/cresent moon thing) does create kindof a triangle shape. This is not the logo I am talking about. I am talking about the Stryper logo with the Isaiah 53:5 scripture. The logo that is on there front webpage and on all there other cd's prior. On the original Enigma release of the cd that Stryper logo covered the entire face of the cd itself. In other words it was a big a** logo. The blue stripes on the black cd is very common. If you look closely the blue stripes are supposed to simulate fingerprints. You have to look at the stripes as a whole. Hence the crime/cop motif of Against the Law artwork. If someone had the Stryper logo version of the cd they would know. Like I said the logo covers the entire front face of the cd itself. My friend has this cd. It has been the only time I have seen it.
