Not lately, but plently of trouble with him a while back. Bought a cd from him that never arrived. Filed paypal dispute. Contacted paypal to see what the status was a couple weeks later & was told that he said I contacted him to let him know that the cd had arrived, which was obviously bullshit. Bottom line, the guy's a scumbag liar & a thief. Paypal ended up refunding all my money, though. Which side of the transaction are you on...buyer or seller?

Don't forget us guys here in Tennessee...we got hit hard, too (as did Georgia). Funniest comment posted on MSN regarding this report: "Satan, your 11 o'clock is here."

My family & I are in Chattanooga, TN & experienced this monster of a storm first hand. It was unlike anything this regions has EVER seen. An F4 tornado ripped Ringgold, GA apart, which is just 15 miles south of us. We bunkered down, said our prayers, & caught just the fringes of this storm. Yet that was still enough to destroy 3 houses in our neighhorbood, topple more trees than I could count, & shut off power at our house for 4 days. There are still thousands of people without power in our region. Please pray for all who were affected by this storm. On a side note...does anybody know if it's safe to seek safety in a tunnel? I told my wife that if a storm like this ever comes our way again that we should haul ass to a tunnel that sits at the base of a ridge, probably 1/2 mile from our house. I've googled, but can't find any clear info on whether this is a good place to seek shelter or not.

Not to hijack this thread, but I don't think compilations really "count" towards the diamond award. Only studio releases...which leaves out Eagles & Springsteen. At least that's what I've been told.

Trivia time...who are the only 5 rock groups with 2 diamond awards (studio albums selling over 10 million each in America)? Def Leppard Led Zeppelin Van Halen Beatles Pink Floyd I am surprised that AC/DC aren't one of them but maybe Highway to Hell hasn't hit that mark yet. Nicely done. Yeah, I would kinda expect AC/DC on that list too, along with the Eagles & Fleetwood Mac.

Hard to believe Kelly's gone...we did a few trades over the years & he recently hooked me up with one I'd been after for a long time. He also liked to call me out of the blue just to see what was going on. I think he got a kick out of my Southern accent, just as I got a kick out of his Canadian one ("What's going on there, eh"?). He will be sorely missed. RIP, buddy.

afaik, the femme fatale album is very unlikley to be released unless the band decides to re-record those tunes. There's a reason why the album's still uneleased despite being picked up by some half a dozen or so label all passing it by. The sample that was posted kicks ass. Why on earth would the songs need to be re-recorded?

If they were going to do a live album they should've actually followed the trends and played one massive shit-kicking gig in London with a "greatest hits"-type feel to the songlist and released it on bluray. I would've bought that. Anything else is largely pointless as it will be for hardcore fans only, and who needs another fucking book with "exclusive" pictures? I'm genuinely surprised to see them headline Download (although it is the first day rather than the Sat or Sun) as they're hardly a massive name these days & have a vastly different audience to the modern bands playing before them... That's exactly what their set list is these days...1, maybe 2 new songs & then all the hits. It's not like they're playing a bunch of songs off Euphoria, X & Sparkle Lounge these days.

I also have one. 4 men sells CDs aorzone under the name. Yeah...suuuuuuuure. He can wipe his ass with the shitty bootleg.

I received a 2nd chance offer on a rare cd from this guy, which in my experience means that the seller is passing off bootlegs. The guy's seller id is familiar to me, but I don't remember if that's a good or bad thing. Any advice?

I think they're a great band, but no...they don't belong here on HH anymore than Duran Duran or Hall & Oates does. On a side note, Huey's coming to Riverbend (big festival here in Chattanooga) this summer. And yes, my wife & I bought the special tickets so we can go way up front.

Surely this has already been discussed, but hell if I could find a thread. Anyway, I thought it would be cool for members to list their favorites, along with any recommendations. I'll start things off with my personal fave...Hop Devil IPA, brewed by Victory Brewing Co. in PA. Any IPA fans out there are seriously missing out if they haven't tried this one. Their winter seasonal, Yakima Glory, also kicks some serious ass. And for those wanting some a little stronger, their Hop Wallop Ale will do the trick (if you couldn't tell, I'm a hophead). Next...
