Which retrospect titles have sold out?
hardrockingcollector replied to hardrockingcollector's topic in Retrospect Records
Yikes. Your right. And being that Sam won't answer the question, I guess stomrspell must have it right... I was buying under the assumption these were all strictly ltd pressings of 100. -
Which retrospect titles have sold out?
hardrockingcollector replied to hardrockingcollector's topic in Retrospect Records
I was under the impression that the cds were all limited to 100, as advertised in the auction strictly limited. If they are repressed, they are not limited to 100, nor are they strictly limited. right? -
Of the 100 pressings of cds that youve sold, which have sold out? it would be nice for collectors to know which titles are deleted.

James Arwine Mud Slinging Central

Actually, I`ll go against the grain on this one. Screw the NSBM. I hope jackasses like Arwine rip them off so bad, they have to go bankrupt. Arwine v. NSBM -- A clash of titans. Hopefully, in a perfect world, they'd destroy one another. -
Sam has been caught out big-time

Whoa dude! I'm not that new, nor am I even remotely a fan of Sam and his pirated cds. Just don't post that often is all! -

I`m gonna wait a day or two so I can bid on the Friction, Rock Blvd., Hotboy, Ram, Sweet Teaze this seller will undoubtedly put up for auction.... Or better yet, Ill wait until this seller puts out the stuff we all know was never released to CD, but was miraculously available on CD only in Minnesota when this guy was ordering CDs for his shop... And no reserves on any of these too! Wow! -

Does anyone know why MM was taken off of ebay? -
Well, whether their bootlegs or not, they keep planning to issue these types of CDs. I found out the following are coming out in December: OUTSTANDING METAL GEMS VOL 009 - HAMMERWITCH / TROP FERROS / CASSLE OUTSTANDING METAL GEMS VOL 016 - MASQUE / STREAM / GRAND BITE OUTSTANDING METAL GEMS VOL 017 - AVALON - WYXMER - THOR (ARG) OUTSTANDING METAL GEMS VOL 018 - PARASITE - WILLD PUSSY - WIDOW (uk) Personally, I think this is awesome. Up til now, crappy CDRs have been the only way to get a lot of this stuff. I finally got some in from a russian mail order company, and this stuff is top notch, and in fact, better then most legit reissues coming out (if they are in fact boots).

A 3.2% disapproval rating, when you think about it, is pretty small. Especially when you take into account the spectrum of your typical metalhead. Dave not only offers great cds at affordable prices, but he's a cool guy in person too. -
Last I heard PJ was opening up another site, with the kissmydisc name still intact. His ebay accounts were recently restored, so we can expect some great things in the next few weeks I imagine.

There must have been some confusion/mistake made when the order was filled, because Ryan over at Metal Mayhem is a stellar dealer. Im sure he'll rectify the situation with you asap. -
TPRS?
hardrockingcollector replied to hardrockingcollector's topic in Good and Bad Traders, Buyers, and Sellers
Well, Greg, you have your facts all wrong. You see, I gave you my hard earned cash via a credit card. You kept it for over a month. You did not send me the Cds I purchased during that period of time. You refunded (or Gemm made you refund) my money only when *I* complained that the CDs were not sent. Then, you listed the very same CDs again on Gemm, but raised your prices 3 and 4 times respectively... that is simply bad business. I wonder if I didnt say anything to gemm whether you would have ripped me off too. And your reputation on gemm is nothing to be proud of (2 stars out of 5). I hardly believe you've gotten "hammered" on selling underpriced cds. You are, bar none, the most outrageously expensive pseudo-dealer on the net, and it appears that when one can find a reasonable deal with you, you won't honor it. -
Not necessarily a bad trader/seller, but certainly not a respected or honorable one either. A while back I purchased a number of items off TPRS from gemm.com. After being assured that the cds were in stock, and having them charge my credit card through gemm and kept the money for over a month, they cancelled my order and said the cds werent in stock. A few days later the same cds appeared on gemm.com again by this seller, but this time with a triple and quadruple jump in price. I assume they knew I had found some cds that were selling real well on ebay and they reneged on our deal, but only after I filed my complaint with gemm.com. Just figured id share it since they're posting now about bad traders.

I think the evidence speaks for itself. Kat didnt even bother to respond to mellowdick's evidence; and all she's done is try and discredit jlp. The bottomline is this: kat, you've ripped a whole lot of people. Im not sure what would possess you to do such a thing. Not only are you ripping people off of there good money but your also ripping them off right before Christmas, when most people are squeezing every penny to get everyone in there family gifts. I think its reprehensible beyond words to do what youve done. You screwed me, and thats just a nasty nasty thing to do to someone you dont even know, right before Christmas. Maybe if you really are prosecuted will you truly understand what youve done. Thats why everyone needs to file their complaints with paypal and let ebay and company do the legwork for us. Or perhaps this kat will realize she doesnt have 9 lives and start refunding our money and apologizing. Judging by her attitude, that doesnt seem likely.
