  1. I think the other thing is, what exactly would we get from them musically? Their three Bach fronted albums are all completely different. Would we get one particular sound, a mish mash of those three albums or something entirely different? We have seen so many bands make comebacks and sound nothing like they used to that I really don't know what to expect anymore. I think from a live perspective that is where the real money is to be made, and a set of greatest hits is the way to go. But with a new album, we could end up with something akin to Guns N Roses where the music sounds nothing like Skid Row. I will say though that going on the last Skids album and what we have heard from the upcoming Seb album, a reunion now could actually move in the direction of the debut album.
  2. Nothing wrong with that considering who it is.
  3. Hale did an interview with New Jersey radio station 105.5 WDHA, and she talked at length about getting the temporary gig with Skid Row, but also hinted that it could become a more permanent situation. “You never know,” she said. “I will say something that most likely will happen is that these will not be the only four dates you ever hear. I will say that. As far as me being the permanent member of Skid Row, we’re gonna all have to find a plateau [laughs] in our schedules to do that. But you never know. Sounds like a pretty good gig for me, if I ever get to that point.” She continued: “But, yeah, I’m just so grateful for the guys. And then think about it coming full circle. And it all comes from the right place. I mean, Erik, what an amazing voice and what a perfect fit for them and brought them into a whole new game changer. There’s everything going on with his health, and how wonderful is it that amicably both parties can be, like, ‘Hey, we’re looking out for each other.’ ‘Hey, I can’t give you what you need.’ And also, ‘Hey, us as a band, we can’t give you what you need to look after yourself. So, hey, let’s do that.’ And ‘Hey, let’s bring in our buddy Lzzy.’ I’m helping out my buddies. Everybody’s doing it for the right reasons. And so it’s a beautiful thing.”
  4. I always knew him for All by myself, but was watching Road House a few weeks ago and looked up who sang the song Hungry eyes, and was surprised it was him. I always wondered though of the name Eric Cartman in South Park was inspired by his name.
  5. From Daves personal page, as expected Elvenking is now his main focus: Davide Damna Moras · It is almost like a funeral to me. Yes it is indeed, my friends and fans of Hell in the Club . After almost 15 years of continuous work, passion and love for this band, I really needed to take a break. This has nothing to do with the band itself, but due to a constant increase of my commitments with Elvenking and my private life, I had to take the hard and sad decision to talk to my brothers in HITC and tell them I couldn’t follow them anymore, at least for a while. We talked for months about this and we considered every possible option - we love each other like brothers and will always do - so it was really hard, but one thing we all agreed on was that it is not yet the time to put an end to the story Hell in the Club started writing in 2009. So we figured out a way to go on still respecting the spirit that moved this entity since the very beginning: • I will still be a part of the team, writing songs and managing the band together with Andy, Picco and Mark. This was the first unconditional term we all agreed on. • I will stop performing as the main singer of the band, but this won’t exclude any possible future collaboration being it in the studio or live. • A new singer will fill my shoes but in full respect of the spirit of Hell in the Club and of what we’ve been doing so far. And about this last point, It hasn’t been easy, but I can tell you that we found what was possibly the only reasonable replacement for what I always set in the band in terms of vocal approach and general attitude. I am sad but at the same time super excited for this new chapter of Hell in the Club. The songs will still sound as powerful and rough as they can be and I’m sure that this new infusion will give a big spark of enthusiasm and brightness to the band. Can’t wait for this to be finally announced and to see my friends and brothers hit the stage again and do what they do best: rock hard. I love you guys. Dave - HELL IN THE CLUB, April 2024
  6. Nah, Hell in the club are Italian, so it can only be ADV himself.
  7. Seeing as he was in two bands, it's gonna take its toll sooner or later, and as Elvenking was his original band I would guess his focus is there now. Shame as I have been with these guys since the debut album.
  8. Went to Replay records today and saw four albums coming out on the 19th of this month, all I believe through Eonian records. Didn't see any topics discussing these, so forgive me if I have somehow missed these.
  9. Just remembered another different style Paul dabbled in years ago. I really like this too
  10. Alter Bridge is very much in the same bracket as Audioslave. A band that is more in common with the bands we listen to, but the bands that spawned them really are not gonna get much attention on here.
  11. Not quite sure you understand what he means by the touring being too much. He is not adverse to touring, just not on the scale Skid Row want to do. For starters, they are an American band and he lives in Sweden, so that is some serious distance. He is more than happy to tour Europe and go outside from time to time, but he cannot commit to the kind of touring schedule they have. Not just because of his health but he has a young family as well. As for music, was just in a chat with him tonight and he fully intends to work on solo stuff, and is still working with Jonah on writing stuff (they both wrote some songs last summer that they were going to pitch to Skid Row for the next album, but now may record and release them to YouTube). He said that anything they are writing now, would probably not see the light of day til the end of next year due to how long it takes to write, record and produce etc. Don't write the guy off yet, he still has a lot of passion for the business.
  12. He did the recent End Machine album and I think one guest song with someone else, but he certainly is not being overused.
  13. You can pretty much talk about any music on here, regardless of genre. But it's better to discuss anything that doesn't fit into one of the specific forum categories, in the general music forum. I know Default and Fuel are in the main database, but I doubt Creed ever will be as they are far too close to grunge for many peoples tastes. There are people here who do like them though, and you may even find a topic or two over in the general forum. Plus I know a video was posted in the music video forum recently. I think Collective Soul has had vids posted before as well. They certainly have a couple of fans on here. Sure it's @whiplash1972 who tends to post stuff by them.
  14. Was thinking that but not sure if this is a full time project or not.
  15. I have a hugely varied taste in music outside the main stuff I listen to, and knew exactly what I was getting into style wise with this. It really does suit his voice, and as I said over on the main site, people forget that these older rock artists weren't influenced by other hard rock bands because they did not exist, they were influenced by old rock n roll, soul and pop rock artists because that is what they were originally exposed to. It's good that a guy like Paul took this as a separate project rather than trying to interject it into Kiss.

  17. Downloaded a digital copy from Amazon and already played it a few times. Really like it. Hopefully it will lead to a full album. Here is some of the info he posted on Instagram Hi everyone!♥️🥁🥁🥁🥁 I've thought about writing this post A LOT! There are so many people I want to thank for making this moment happen. This is deifinitely my number 1 moment of my career as a musician, composer, producer and a SINGER. My virginity is lost now in so many ways, haha... 😃 The list of people involved in my career is way too long to deal in one post, so I will write more about that later on... For now I just want to say that this is my vision of Rock n' Roll. This is how I see the world at the moment. My partners in crime on this song are @jalleverne and @ollianthonanttila . We lit up the darkness! 👏🏼 my 6 year old demo was totally reborn! @jykasirainen / @countryjyka played amazing bass tracks and sang some killer backing vocals. He also recorded my drumming at MAXX FACTORY studio, @mikkoanterolahtonen played hell of a guitar tracks as he always does. And me and Olli A. Did the rest, at his studio and at my place. You guys are a goup of extremely good people with good energy, talent and passion for music. Thank you guys♥️ This means a lot to me. I hope you can all feel it. This story will go on!👏🏼 For now, Dance Thru Darkness! 💥
  18. Hessu is on vocals. By all accounts this was a demo he did six years ago, but has finally re-recorded the full version. Certainly has a Reckless Love vibe to it.
