  1. I loved pretty much all the tracks so far. This is heading directly into my top 10 when it's released
  2. not where covers are concerned. We've covered this before but there are only a handful of covers in the history of music which improve on the original. this one doesn't either, but it's decent.
  3. the song is just weird and the verse sounds out of tune .
  4. that's the point mate - most of them aren't good
  5. most covers are an utter waste of time mate
  6. Plenty of albums in my top 10 will be played for years to come. Some great albums this year imo.
  7. So out of interest, aside from Geoff, what does everyone else think of the latest Kissin Dynamite album? My take on it is songs like Not the End, Only the Dead, Yoko Ono, Hallelujah, No One Dies, Defeat It, Voodoo Spell were all awesome slabs of melodic rock and miles better than virtually any other song they'd ever released?? Add to that 2 great ballads in Gone for Good & Scars and you have a consistently great melodic rock album. So guys, am I right. or am I the only twat liking this thing?? 🤔
  8. its not an issue lol Odd choice of word. if you don't like then fair dos
  9. not absolutely but I they were working on something so 🤞
  10. I agree entirely prior to this pretty weak, but man they nailed this one imo. I love nearly every track.

  12. no 1 is almost perfectly correct Just an amazing unique album. Love it.
  13. madness imo. most of those albums you mention above are pure shit, but to each their own
  14. half decent is about all I can muster. This is a far cry from those first 2 classic albums
  15. can only assume you forgot about Kissin Dynamite as it pretty much anhialates most of that HH top 30. IMHO of course
  16. Avatar 2. saw it with the family and in 3D. loved it.
  17. Bark will always be my fav, 13 yr old me played that album to death when it came out. Followed closely by Blizzard & Diary
  18. of course it's personal opinions. I'm sure some techy person would explain that a cd has some better frequency response or something, but they didnt sound better, simple as. How vinyl sounds now I can't comment on as not bought vinyl since 1987.
  19. just referring to my own experience mate. i had 100s of albums on vinyl and basically rebought them all on CD. Just an easier medium to play and store. Did the cds sound better. No. Not in my opinion. The vinyl had a richer more open sound with much more depth. The CDs sounded clear as a bell but more compressed in some way. Anyway everyone hears something different. Hell I listen to compressed as fuck audio on a smartphone now lol. The things we do for convenience.
  20. absolute bollox being written here about vinyl. Hook it up on the right system and it's the best deepest ballsiest sound you can achieve. I used to have Rega 2 turntable and a Creek amp and it sounded immense. Also you could barely detect crackle. Now come the difficult bits .... ITS A PAIN IN THE ARSE. ITS EXPENSIVE. I'll never go back. BUT it's the best pure listening experience. No doubt
  21. glad to report 90 sec samples on Apple music sound excellent. Much more in line with what I loved about II
  22. interesting to revisit this 6 years on. Those 5 and white widdow are still the 6 I would be most inclined to play still. I think now tho it would be : 1. WoA 2. Vega 3. HEAT 4. White Widdow 5. Seven based purely on play count Top 3 are by far my most played albums from that year
