  1. I'd agree those two discs are in a different league To Zinatra's Great Escape.....there's something about that album which slightly annoys me. I dunno what....just a bit frantic and over the top in places. As I said slightly annoying........
  2. Backed......Mood Swings is a great album but definitely falls away on the second side. S/T is blinding throughout.
  3. I can see your (but dont necessarily totally agree) arguments right up til this point..... But Helluva Time over Lipservice...............not for me mate. and for me In10sity absolutely kills Dominoe Effect..........hey ho. Three great bands though all said and Done (great Gotthard song).
  4. Doesnt blow me away Im afraid mate. Im being very picky with the modern stuff these days. If it doesnt blow me away Im not bothering with it cos there are literally hundreds of these bands now and its just too much to keep on top of. All the songs featured were all OK - even approaching good in some places, but just does nothing for me really. I want some more SOTY, A Change, Papa, Nural, Shinedown....that sort of killer stuff. Might just have to wait til May for Adelitas Way....which will be up there with those bands
  5. I dunno that song didnt grab me at all. Ok ish but nothing more.
  6. Ive been watching the developments on this over at Melrock. Nice line up but I just cant go to this and Firefest
  7. Very nice mate Where are the Cook Islands? East of Australia - beyond New Zealand, beyond Fiji, beyond Samoa (though a little lower) and out right near Tahiti. People say the Cook Islands are as nice as Tahiti was 20 years ago, before commercialism. Sounds like Paradise mate, can`t wait for the photos. I went to Hawaii once, Oahu - Honolulu, very nice but too commercial for me, would rather of gone to Maui Yeah, I'd still love to go to Hawaii... but I always prefer the quite islands in places like that. From pictures I've seen, Honolulu looks like any big city, but on the beach. Still, would love to go there. Hope to get some good piccies in the Cook Islands too. I went to Maui for my honeymoon That's when I had some money and could actually afford holidays. Too many kids to worry about now....love the littlun tho and cant wait for the next 2 to turn up When I got married to my first wife, we went to Los Angeles for 6 nights, drove to Vegas for 4 nights - got married, flew over the Grand Canyon by Helicopter, flew to San Francisco for 4 nights(not by Helicopter ) went to Alcatrazz and Yosemite National Park, then flew to Honolulu for our honeymoon. Thought it was nice, went to Pearl Harbour which was fantastic and very moving. Thought there were too many McDonalds around for my liking though, way too commercial for me, very attractive place Agreed with having money then and none now Wow, nice mate. You adventure-seeker, you. Seriously mate, sounds like a great honeymoon. We did a similar thing. Flew to San Francisco for 2 nights then on to Honalulu for 5 nights then onto Maui for 5 nights. Then flew back to Las Vegas - flight over the Grand Canyon for a one night stay in the national park and back to Vegas for the last evening. 3 weeks in total. honeymoon = best holiday ever.
  8. Pretty Maids - Jump The Gun Dokken - Up From The Ashes

Ha, I knew you wouldnt like that song. Great disc tho all said and done, and one that will feature very highly for me come year end in the modern stakes. Avatar... drool... penis... hard... yum... ass... Sorry mate, you said something? Seriously, though, nice disc. I knew youd like that one......sweet. Good disc too

Yeah, I love 'Physics'...superb vocal harmonies in that chorus.....that's what does it for me. But really with repeated spins the whole album is excellent. Love it.
  17. Worse than that mate.....Luton are heading for footballing oblivion. The end. Game over.
  18. Ahhh, now its 'Say What You Will' - what an awesome ballad. Especially the end. My whole body is a goosebump. the last 45 secs
